Charity Hospital in New Orleans- Run by the Sisters of Charity

Charity Hospital is run by the Sisters of Charity in New Orleans, along with
the Upjohn company developed the plasma system in the 1930'sthat saved so
many lives in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and in the middle east now. During the
Civil War most of the nurses were nuns. Even if you are not Catholic, this
is eye opening. When the Catholic Church was founded, there were no
hospitals. Today, one out of five people in this country receive their
medical care at a Catholic hospital. When the Catholic Church was founded
there were no schools. Today, the Catholic Church teaches 3 million
students a day, in its more than 250 Catholic Colleges and Universities, in
its more than 1200 Catholic High Schools and its more than 5000 Catholic
grade schools. Every day, the Catholic Church feeds, clothes, shelters and educates
more people than any other organization in the world. The new Obama Health Mandate
could end all this and the taxpayers would have to make up the loss. Also, all Catholic
adoption services will come to an end...a human disaster. There are more than 77
million Catholics in this country. It takes an estimated 50 million Catholic votes to elect a
president. I am asking all of you to go to the polls in 2014 then again in 2016 and be united
in replacing all Senators and Reps with someone who will respect the
Catholic Church, all Christians, and all religions with perhaps the
exception of Islam. Mr. President, you said, "The USA is not a Christian
Nation". You are wrong - we are a Christian Nation founded on
Judeo-Christian values allowing all religions in America to worship and
practice freely....something that Islam will never do. Oh, by the way, on
MUSLIM HERITAGE IN America ....Have you ever been to a Muslim hospital,
heard a Muslim orchestra, seen a Muslim band march in a parade, know of a
Muslim charity, ever seen Muslims shaking hands with a Muslim Girl Scout,
or ever seen a Muslim Candy Striper volunteering in a hospital? Have you
ever seen a Muslim do much of anything that contributes positively to the
American way of life?
Michael T. Wayne- The World and THIS COUNTRY owe a great deal of respect to the good work of the Catholic Church. As we all know the 2014 election mentioned above is moot. Come next year it will all start again, with multitudes of presidential candidates telling us all what we want to hear. We need the new Republican Congress to keep our dictator-in-chief in check God willing. Nothing is left to do but wait. Not my strong suit.

How many people know that President Bush hosts a few Wounded Warriors at his ranch 10 weekends every year? Every year! All expenses paid! (Not by taxpayers)
Not what you expect to see, huh?  There he is, dancing with a "Wounded Warrior" who has lost a leg, but still dances.
I guarantee we will NEVER see a story or picture like this from NBC, CBS, ABC, The New York Times, or The Washington Post.

Great for the Mayor of Montreal and Canada

Canada understands as the United States continues to bend over backwards to placate Muslims in fear of "offending" them. It is nice to see a government in this hemisphere defend its Country and Citizens in every way. Is it too late for America, in more than the pork at schools?
MAYOR REFUSES TO REMOVE PORK FROM SCHOOL CANTEEN- MENU... EXPLAINS WHY:
Muslim parents demanded the abolition of pork in all the school canteens of a Montreal suburb.
The mayor of the Montreal suburb of Dorval, has refused, and the town clerk sent a note to all parents to explain why...
“Muslims must understand that they have to adapt to Canada and Quebec, its customs, its traditions, its way of life, because that's where they chose to immigrate.
“They must understand that they have to integrate and learn to live in Quebec.
“They must understand that it is for them to change their lifestyle, not the Canadians who so generously welcomed them.
“They must understand that Canadians are neither racist nor xenophobic, they accepted many immigrants before Muslims (whereas the reverse is not true, in that Muslim states do not accept non-Muslim immigrants).
“That no more than other nations, Canadians are not willing to give up their identity, their culture.”
“And if Canada is a land of welcome, it's not the Mayor of Dorval who welcomes foreigners, but the Canadian-Quebecois people as a whole.
“Finally, they must understand that in Canada (Quebec) with its Judeo-Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches and religious festivals, religion must remain in the private domain.
The municipality of Dorval was right to refuse any concessions to Islam and Sharia.
“For Muslims who disagree with secularism and do not feel comfortable in Canada, there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them under-populated and ready to receive them with open halal arms in accordance with Sharia.
“If you left your country for Canada, and not for other Muslim countries, it is because you have considered that life is better in Canada than elsewhere.
“Ask yourself the question, just once, “Why is it better here in Canada than where you come from?”

Michael T. Wayne- I agree. It seems impossible to understand the fact that this is the land of opportunity, yet those who come here from limited means seem to want to change North America, be it Canada or the US- as if they had a right to do so or that we need it. Their ideas are not usually change for the better, but a regression to the way things are where they came from. Good for Canada.

We watched high school Principal Dennis Prager of Colorado, along with Sara Palin and Tom Brokaw on TV a couple of weeks ago....what a dynamic, down to earth speaker. Even though Palin and Brokaw were also guest speakers they did little but nod and agree with him. This is the guy that should be running for President in 2016.
A Speech Every American High School Principal Should Give.

To the students and faculty of our high school:

I am your new principal, and honored to be so.
There is no greater calling than to teach young people.

I would like to apprise you of some important changes coming to our school. I am making these changes because I am convinced that most of the ideas that have dominated public education in America have worked against you, against your teachers and against our country.

First, this school will no longer honor race or ethnicity. I could not care less if your racial makeup is black, brown, red, yellow or white. I could not care less if your origins are African, Latin American, Asian or European, or if your ancestors arrived here on the Mayflower or on slave ships. The only identity I care about, the only one this school will recognize, is your individual identity -- your character, your scholarship, your humanity. And the only national identity this school will care about is American.

This is an American public school, and American public schools were created to make better Americans. If you wish to affirm an ethnic, racial or religious identity through school, you will have to go elsewhere. We will end all ethnicity, race and non-American nationality-based celebrations. They undermine the motto of America, one of its three central values -- E pluribus Unum, "from many, one." And this school will be guided by America's values. This includes all after-school clubs. I will not authorize clubs that divide students based on any identities. This includes race, language, religion, sexual orientation or whatever else may become in vogue in a society divided by political correctness.

Your clubs will be based on interests and passions, not blood, ethnic, racial or other physically defined ties. Those clubs just cultivate narcissism -- an unhealthy preoccupation with the self -- while the purpose of education is to get you to think beyond yourself. So we will have clubs that transport you to the wonders and glories of art, music, astronomy, languages you do not already speak, carpentry and more. If the only extracurricular activities you can imagine being interested in are those based on ethnic, racial or sexual identity, that means that little outside of yourself really interests you.

Second, I am uninterested in whether English is your native language. My only interest in terms of language is that you leave this school speaking and writing English as fluently as possible. The English language has united America's citizens for over 200 years, and it will unite us at this school. It is one of the indispensable reasons this country of immigrants has always come to be one country. And if you leave this school without excellent English language skills, I would be remiss in my duty to ensure that you will be prepared to successfully compete in the American job market. We will learn other languages here -- it is deplorable that most Americans only speak English -- but if you want classes taught in your native language rather than in English, this is not your school.

Third, because I regard learning as a sacred endeavor, everything in this school will reflect learning's elevated status. This means, among other things, that you and your teachers will dress accordingly. Many people in our society dress more formally for Hollywood events than for church or school. These people have their priorities backward. Therefore, there will be a formal dress code at this school.

Fourth, no obscene language will be tolerated anywhere on this school's property -- whether in class, in the hallways or at athletic events. If you can't speak without using the f -word, you can't speak. By obscene language I mean the words banned by the Federal Communications Commission, plus epithets such as "Nigger," even when used by one black student to address another black, or "bitch," even when addressed by a girl to a girlfriend. It is my intent that by the time you leave this school, you will be among the few your age to instinctively distinguish between the elevated and the degraded, the holy and the obscene.

Fifth, we will end all self-esteem programs. In this school, self-esteem will be attained in only one way -- the way people attained it until decided otherwise a generation ago -- by earning it. One immediate consequence is that there will be one valedictorian, not eight.

Sixth, and last, I am reorienting the school toward academics and away from politics and propaganda. No more time will be devoted to scaring you about smoking and caffeine, or terrifying you about sexual harassment or global warming. No more semesters will be devoted to condom wearing and teaching you to regard sexual relations as only or primarily a health issue... There will be no more attempts to convince you that you are a victim because you are not white, or not male, or not heterosexual or not Christian. We will have failed if any one of you graduates this the flag of our country. As many of you do not know the words, your teachers will hand them out to you. school and does not consider him or herself inordinately fortunate -- to be alive and to be an American.
Now, please stand and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of our country. As many of you do not know the words, your teachers will hand them out to you.

Michael T. Wayne- This is a real no-nonsense person and I like it. I admire his strength to do what is right when it may not be politically correct. This is as it should be in an equal society- no special treatment, only hard work.

The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.
Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:
1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
Think about it! And that pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.
Makes you wonder who is doing the math.
These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:
1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
Sure is funny how that works. And here's another one worth considering-
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money.  But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money?  What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.
Think about it. Last but not least,
3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.
Am I the only one missing something? Sometime I wonder who the Politicians are really working for.
