REMEMBER ME

5-8-2011

When I am gone,

Dream me some happiness.

Let not your looks,

Our long lived love confess.

Do not praise nor disparage me.

Neither bless or ignore,

Our true love's force.

Be not filled with sorrow.

Let not thy bitterness of my soul's repossession

Lead thee into morose delectation.

My name is Michael T. Wayne. I was born and reside in Melbourne, Florida. I am a Born Again Christian. My first collection of poems, which I never intended to publish, as they are an extremely personal catharsis (rife with profanity); "Schizophrenia" was published in ©2004, I was advised to send the work to a publisher in 2003 by a family member. "Manic Depression" was published in ©2005, and written in ’04. Since then I have been working tirelessly on many writings from multiple genres, from blues, and other songs, as well as poetry-though rarely; besides my blog on alexamediagroupinc., I am working on my first novel currently. It will be the first in a series of books, with the main character- named Michael of course. There is a third poetry collection, “Chaos”, written and copy written in ’05, soon to be available with the first two, electronically. A fourth collection that is titled “Reality”, is on the back burner to the novel, and will be done when it is done.
My hiatus is over. I am feeling better, and preparing to start writing posts again. Thank you to all of my loyal readers for your thoughts and prayers. I still have more spine surgery coming, but it takes a while- almost as long as the V.A. I deserve to wait longer than our Armed Forces; the brave men and women who protect us should NOT EVER wait. December 5th, 2014 a simple outpatient procedure will be done. I await the very serious thoracic work (not looking forward to having my chest cracked open).
Not yet published but complete, © 2006 “Chaos” , ©2011 “Remember Me” poem, ©2011 “Jimmy Hendrix: Inspiration” poem, written in 2005, and my latest and soon to be finished work, a novel. No title for you yet. It is fiction, and that is all for now.
The following are the synopsis' from each of my two poetry collections which are already published:

While most of the poetry in this collection, Schizophrenia, is based on the ups and downs of one man's personal and private life, some of it is not. Some of the poems are about political issues, racism and racial harmony issues which plague us. There are also several regarding the use of drugs, mainly heroin, and addiction, attempting to show the downward spiral these sick people go through. The stigma alone of being called a junky, or even to simply be labeled an addict makes changing their ways that much harder. They need support as I attempt to show the various stages and desires they feel. I do not support drugs in any way, other than the blatantly obvious feeling for Mary Jane. If just one poem can strike a cord with one person, then I will be happy. The goal is simple. We all live here, and we are all human. We need to take care of each other, and protect each other. I wish only to leave the world better than when I came.

"Manic Depression" is a slight but not utter departure from the boldness of speech in "Schizophrenia", my first published collection of fifty poems that were rough and edgy by nature. Experience is very important when looking at events, both past and present, from different points of view-this is the key. It is of my sincere opinion that "Schizophrenia" was lacking certain nuances that can only be gained by experience in living life with changing environments and goals. This collection, "Manic Depression," differs from my first published collection in that I have been able to write about many things in which I have personal experience and now feel comfortable putting into words. I found that there was more ease in bringing forth these words, which will be evident. Of course, I continually keep up with my poignant style, expressed points of view, language method and unstoppable honesty, which have enabled me to be true about my feelings since I began. I have held nothing back in my new collection "Manic Depression."

JIMI HENDRIX: PURE INSPIRATION

by Michael T. Wayne

9-18-2010

He was gone in an instant.

Gone, before any nuance of his existence reached the insatiable

grasping of their desire to directly influence his behavior,

nor was his righteousness tainted by their evil touch.

Gone, yet not forgotten by everyone,

and in everything he had
a hand in creating artistically.

Feats with the guitar some could not even imagine.

His reality was the gift he left behind,

completely permeated with his soul.

Thank you, Jimi

P
eace. Peace and Love to you all
