Whaaaaaaaaaat? Obama Is Related To John Punch- On The White Half?

President Obama related to country’s first enslaved man
By Claudine Zap | The Lookout
President Obama
A study from Ancestry.com has determined that President Obama is related to John Punch, the first black African enslaved for life in America--which would make Punch the 11th great-grandfather of Obama.
The connection is made through Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunhan. The website's records say she had ancestors who were white landowners in Colonial Virginia who descended from an African man, Punch.
According to the site's press release, Punch tried to escape indentured servitude in colonial Virginia in 1640 and was punished by becoming enslaved for life. The records show that Punch had children with a white woman, and her status as free was passed on to her offspring. Punch's descendants became successful landowners in the slave-owning state of Virginia.
This would mean that the first documented slave and the first African American president have a shared lineage, claim researchers. Said Ancestry.com's genealogist Joseph Shumway, "John Punch was more than likely the genesis of legalized slavery in America. But after centuries of suffering, the Civil War, and decades of civil rights efforts, his 11th great-grandson became the leader of the free world and the ultimate realization of the American Dream."
Genealogists seem to be fascinated with the current president's family tree: The site has also traced an Irish branch of Obama's family. And researchers at the New England Historic Genealogical Society claim he is the distant cousin of movie star Brad Pitt and six past presidents, including George W. Bush.
MTW-Wow! That is incredible! He will not show us his scholastic records from Occidental or Harvard, or citizenship records, and names/Social Security numbers and ALL Passports, and aliases; but he is a direct descendant of not just a slave, but the very FIRST African slave, in 1640? Harvard needs better record keeping, or at least make records available, as well as Occidental, and however he got here from Indonesia. His Father was not even fully African, as he was part- the most part- Arab, as it says in his own hand on his birth certificate, which, oddly enough we have been shown. Yet somehow, his Socialst/Communist White side of the family has descended from not merely a slave, but the very first one. I have a friend who is a compulsive liar. Even he could never pull this off. The Black Community around the Nation should be questioning this as well, but will they? I am dumbfounded at the sheer balls of this man to keep his life a secret, and yet he is related to John Punch, and Brad Pitt, as well as his cousin GW, who he blames for everything. I suppose it is also Bush's fault that bin-Laden was killed. That does not balance it out for me. Revolution anyone? It is a good thing every now and again.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

British Media Loves Obama- Romney Is Too Honest

British media hammer Romney on Olympic comments
By Holly Bailey, Yahoo! News Senior Political Reporter | The Ticket
(Charles Dharapak/AP)
LONDON—On day three of his overseas tour, Mitt Romney woke up to unfriendly headlines from the British media, which continue to trash him for telling NBC News that he found preparations for the Olympics here "disconcerting."
"Mitt the Twit," declared The Sun tabloid, condemning Romney as a "wannabe president." The Independent headlined its take on Romney's trip "Romneyshambles"—accusing him of not only committing a diplomatic gaffe but later "the cardinal sin of U.S. politics, flip-flopping" on his criticism.
The Daily Telegraph suggested Romney's "Olympic gaffe" had overshadowed his trip to London.
Meanwhile, the conservative Daily Mail slammed Romney as "devoid of charm, offensive and a wazzock."
Romney's comments led newscasts on both Sky News and the BBC on Thursday night and early Friday morning, just hours ahead of the Olympic opening ceremonies here.
"Is this guy really prepared to be president?" one Sky News reporter asked in his Thursday night report about Romney's day in London. The reporter trashed the GOP candidate's comments as "just daft."
Romney has repeatedly tried to dial back his criticism, first in a news conference Thursday outside No. 10 Downing Street, where he had met with British Prime Minister David Cameron, who had been publicly critical of Romney's remarks earlier in the day.
In an interview with CNN's Piers Morgan Thursday night, Romney again tried to contain the controversy, telling the CNN host he believes the London games will be successful.
"It's great. It's absolutely fabulous," Romney said of being in London for the games. "You know I'd never been to an Olympics before I was given the Olympic job. I mean I've done the same thing everybody else did. I watched the games on TV. But to actually be here and to experience not just the athletes but also the volunteers who are working hard and excited, and then the whole community comes together. … It's fabulous."
Citing the "enthusiasm" of the people in London, Romney added, "I think you are going to see terrific games that will be long time in our memories."
MTW- He was asked a question, then he answered them with what they asked him. He told them HIS opinion, which is what THEY asked him for. He did not pander to what they WANTED to hear, nor did he try to make his remarks insincerely sweet so that they would like it. People knock him for not being diplomatic. What they expected is, that he should have told them what they WHAT THEY WANTED TO HEAR without anything negative, so they would FEEL GOOD about themselves. Instead he told them what he thought, honestly. That folks, is a REAL CHANGE.
In society today so many others feel it is alright to tell how they feel about anything, and with derogatory words, names or demeaning. Yet these same people do not want anyone else to say what is on THEIR mind without name calling, or demeaning, filthy, language, because it is not diplomatic. So, YOU can say what you want, how you want to say it and NOT be diplomatic or respectful, yet when someone else does it, and without all that derogatory, demeaning and filthy language it is wrong? They are used to speaking to Obama, and having their asses kissed.
Any leaders, who feel that someone has to be diplomatic to them, do not care about the truth. They do not want to hear it; rather, only what they want to hear, and hear it nicely, to stroke their egos. If you cannot stand to hear sincere truth then you do not have the character to be a leader. If you as a person cannot stand to hear sincere truth, then you deserve to be lied to and will be. (Obama)
Does anyone remember the un-inviting of the Obamas to the Royal Wedding? How about the fact that Yahoo has released nothing but articles pointing out ALL of the many problems with the Olympics in London? Why is the British Olympic Team the only to have air conditioning? How about the fact that the word CNN, the anti-Republican Network, is in this article? All of the comments on Yahoo about this came from defensive Democrats, still in awe of their beloved non-Citizen President who is a Muslim. Barry Soetoro at Occidental suddenly became Barack Obama at Harvard, with the same school records, which we are not allowed to see. When did he change his name? He had to change it to keep the scholastic records he had accrued as a foreign exchange student, from Indonesia. Quite suspicious, yet Mitt Romney telling his honest opinion is indeed what OUR President should do. I am not the mainstream media. People are getting nothing from them, save for bias. Not here. I am not beholding to one side or another, Republican or Democrat; however, my intelligence must make it easier for me to see that Obama is full of shit, and a terrible leader. No More Obama! I suppose if my Country destroyed an ecosystem with their petroleum company, and Obama let us get away with it- (BP). I see you there reading this, Great Britain, left wing ......s.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

It was not merely a kind gesture on his part, but an indicator of just what kind of person Christian Bale truly is. After such a horrific display of just how evil a person is capable of acting, how can he not feel moved to go and visit the memorial, and to also visit the surviving victims in the hospital, if he were not a good man? Also, it was all on the down-low. He did not do it for media attention. He asked the hospital to keep his visit a secret, yet news always leaks out. Christian, you have made the list-the good person list. I have always valued your acting and its entertainment; however, with this act you have become the best actor to be cast as Batman, and one hell of a good guy. God bless you sir, and your lovely wife Sibi. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. Posted by Michael T. Wayne- A Little Crazy

Mistake In Key Part Of Obamacare

Experts argue Obamacare mistake could doom key part of law
By Liz Goodwin, Yahoo! News National Affairs Reporter | The Ticket
Rick Perry is one of several GOP governors who has vowed not to set up a state health exchange. (LM Otero/AP)
States could dodge a key part of the health care reform law because of a little-noticed mistake in the lengthy bill, according to a white paper by conservative health care experts Michael Cannon and Jonathan Adler.
A missing word in the law's definition of a health insurance exchange could prevent the federal government from doling out crucial subsidies to aid middle class and lower-income people in buying insurance in states that refuse to set up their own exchanges.
(Only 14 states are close to setting up exchanges so far. The federal government will set up back-up exchanges in states that don't have their own by 2014.) If Cannon and Adler are right, the federal government would also not be able to fine large employers in states without exchanges if their lack of coverage leads employees to buy insurance in a federal exchange.
The law defines a health insurance exchange as a "governmental agency or nonprofit entity that is established by a state" in one section of the law, and then says later that individuals who participate in exchanges under that definition are eligible for subsidies. Because the law only says a "state" and not "a state or the federal government," Cannon and Adler argue that the federal government cannot legally dole out subsidies or tax breaks to people who buy insurance from federal exchanges.
The Obama administration has said that the intention of the law is clear, and that they fully plan on handing out subsidies when they set up federal exchanges in states that do not set up their own. (Other legal experts agree. Tim Jost, a law professor at William and Lee University, told Yahoo News the pair's thesis is "wishful thinking.")
But Cannon and Adler argue the "mistake" was an intentional choice to push states to set up exchanges, and that the administration must deal with the consequences.
If the law's opponents sue over the missing language and win (both big hypotheticals), it would mean considerably fewer people will gain health insurance under the law than was planned--because the lack of subsidies means those without insurance would not be forced to purchase coverage. (If the cheapest plan available costs more than 8 percent of a person's income, that person is no longer penalized under the law if he or she remains uninsured.)
But, there may be a compelling reason for opponents of the law to hold their fire. Another part of the law says that no state can cut their existing Medicaid rolls until an exchange is up and running in their state. Under the new, narrower definition pushed by Adler and Cannon, that would mean that no state could ever tighten up its eligibility requirements for Medicaid unless it first sets up a health care exchange of its own.
House Republicans have tried to repeal this part of the bill to no avail. But Adler told Yahoo News that because of the Supreme Court's decision on the health care law--which specifically held that the federal government isn't allowed to take away existing Medicaid funds as punishment for lack of implementation--the entire section should be called into question. The court would frown on the government imposing "new conditions on existing Medicaid funding that are contingent on participation in a new program," Adler said. Jost said that's a misreading of the decision, which only applies in the case of the Medicaid expansion.
MTW-Why was there a mistake left in it, and why does it sound as if it was left there intentionally? The whole thing is going to create a deficit increase that we will never recover from. I am trying to understand what these State set up exchanges really are, with Government set ups in uncooperative States. Sounds expensive, with a lot more Government jobs. What do I know, it is just wishful thinking that our President is not out to ruin us. He needs to go. No more Obama!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Whooping Cough Outbreak

U.S. whooping cough outbreak could be worst in half century
By Laura L. Myers | Reuters
FILE - This Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 file photo shows an empty bottle of Tetanus, Diphthera and Pertussis, (whooping cough) vaccine at Inderkum High School in Sacramento, Calif. Health officials say the U.S. is on track to have the worst year for whooping cough in more than five decades. Nearly 18,000 cases have been reported so far - more than twice the number seen at this point last year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday, July 19, 2012. At this pace, the number of whooping cough cases will surpass every year since 1959. (AP Photo/Rich Pedroncelli)
SEATTLE (Reuters) - The number of U.S. whooping cough cases has risen to around 18,000 in an outbreak that is on track to become the most severe in over a half century and could in part stem from possible waning vaccine protection, health officials said on Thursday.
Washington State, which declared an epidemic in April, and Wisconsin were particularly hard hit, with each reporting more than 3,000 cases, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Nine people have died overall and the number of cases was already more than double than at the same time last year.
Whooping cough, also known as pertussis, causes severe, almost uncontrollable coughing. In the United States, most children are immunized with a DTaP five-dose series vaccine that is given as a series of shots, starting at two months.
All adults, including pregnant women, should get a booster shot because the contagious illness is especially dangerous for children under a year old who have yet to complete a cycle of vaccinations, Dr. Anne Schuchat, director of the CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, told a media briefing.
"It's most dangerous for babies," Schuchat said, adding that the current outbreak at its existing pace could become the most severe since 1959, when 40,000 cases were reported. "Preventing infant deaths from the disease is our primary national goal," she said.
A spike in whooping cough cases among 10-year-olds and adolescents who are 13 and 14 was a concern, perhaps an indicator that the pertussis vaccine may be wearing off earlier than anticipated, Washington Health Secretary Mary Selecky said.
The U.S. groups of 10-, 13- and 14-year-olds who are experiencing a high illness rate had DTaP vaccinations, which were introduced in 1997 at the same time that the prior DTP vaccine was discontinued.
The earlier vaccine used whole cell parts made of killed pertussis bacteria, while DTaP uses only small acellular bacteria pieces, not the whole bacteria cell, said Donn Moyer, Washington state Health Department spokesman.
CDC officials will begin an investigation in Washington state later this month "to analyze our data for cases among 13- to 14-year-olds to see what can be learned about disease rates and vaccination status," Moyer told Reuters.
The number of cases in Washington, with no deaths, has tripled since April, with 1,132 cases reported by the end of that month.
Moyer said the CDC also plans a similar study in California, where a 2010 epidemic counted more than 9,000 cases, including 10 infant deaths.
Whooping cough typically begins with cold-like symptoms such as a fever, runny nose and sneezing and is accompanied by a mild cough that grows more severe by the first or second week. A high-pitched whoop, giving the illness its name, can follow violent coughing fits.
This year, Australia is experiencing a high rate of whooping cough, Schuchat said.

Homeland Security Allows Florida To View Immigration Info- As Ordered By Judge

Homeland Security lets states view immigration database to aid voter purge
By Liz Goodwin, Yahoo! News National Affairs Reporter | The Ticket
The Department of Homeland Security is opening up its immigration database to several battleground states that want to identify and kick off non-citizens from their voter registration rolls, NPR reported.
Homeland Security initially denied Florida's request to access the database, arguing it would violate voting rights laws, before a federal judge sided with Florida and forced DHS to open the database. Florida, Colorado, Nevada and other battleground states may soon start using the data to purge legal immigrants who have not yet become citizens from the rolls.
Florida notified 2,700 people--60 percent of them Hispanic--that their voter registration would be automatically revoked if they didn't prove their citizenship.
The Florida officials relied on a state database that had out-of-date citizenship information, and most of the people contacted by reporters on the list have proven or stated their citizenship, according to the Miami Herald. Voting rights groups have criticized the purge for happening so close to the election, which gives people removed in error little time to re-register. Some Democrats argue the purges and voter ID laws intentionally discourage minority voters who tend to vote Democratic, but supporters argue that they're a necessary way to prevent voter fraud.
MTW-What is the big deal? All that Florida wants to do, is make sure that the immigrants who do vote are casting a legal ballot. The Democrats never have let go of the Bush/Gore election debacle here. However, we do not want Obama getting votes that do not officially count, and hopefully no votes from people who have died years ago, like one of his Social Security number's real owners, who was deceased in 1890. We all know Homeland Security's job is important, but it would seem that they were ordered by someone in power to prevent this. I wonder who. Why did it take a Judge to get this information? They (Florida) want to give these folks enough notice to get their proof in order. How do you think Ellis Island used to work? We do not need any more Obama. No more Obama! (I wanted to use the Pink Floyd lyrics "we don't need no, Barack Obama", except I do not use contractions when I write.

Obama Calls Putin About Syria

Obama calls Putin to discuss ‘out of control’ Syria
By Olivier Knox, Yahoo! News White House Correspondent| The Ticket
(Mikhail Klimentyev/AP/RIA-Novosti)
President Barack Obama telephoned Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday to discuss escalating violence in Syria after Defense Secretary Leon Panetta warned the country was "rapidly spinning out of control." There appeared to be no breakthrough.
The White House said Obama and Putin "noted the differences our governments have had on Syria" but "agreed on the need to support a political transition as soon as possible that achieves our shared goal of ending the violence and avoiding a further deterioration of the situation." But Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Russian reporters that "differences in approaches remain that concern practical steps in achieving a settlement."
The apparent stalemate matters because Russia (abetted by China) has blocked efforts at the U.N. Security Council to adopt a blueprint designed to end the violence in Syria. Moscow has long supported President Bashar al-Assad, whose 16-month crackdown on the opposition to his regime has left more than 10,000 dead, according to outside observers. The Council had been slated to vote Wednesday on a new resolution imposing fresh sanctions on Syria. But that vote was postponed at the request of former secretary-general Kofi Annan, who has been acting as an international mediator in the crisis--thus far with few signs of success.
"We're working with our partners up at the United Nations in New York trying to bring about the consensus that we believe is absolutely necessary," White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters. "We call on our friends and our partners internationally to recognize that Assad is a spent force in terms of history. He will not be a part of Syria's future" Carney said. "And the best possible course of action for every country with an interest in the region and in the future of the Syrian people is to ally with the Syrian people and support a transition that is inclusive and allows for the establishment of a process and a democratic future for Syria."
The comments came amid escalating deadly violence, including a bomb attack that killed the country's defense minister. Official Syrian media blamed the blast on a suicide bombing. But a U.S. official told Yahoo News on condition of anonymity that American intelligence was still seeking independent confirmation of that claim.
The bombing, as well as deadly clashes in Syria's capital Damascus, led Panetta to warn that the country may be ripping itself apart.
"The violence there has only gotten worse and the loss of lives has only increased, which tells us that this is a situation that is rapidly spinning out of control," he said at a Pentagon press conference.
Asked about concerns regarding Syria's chemical weapons arsenal, Panetta replied: "It's something that we've made very clear to them: that they have a responsibility to safeguard their chemical sites, and that we will hold them responsible should anything happen with regards to those sites."
"We, the United States, are closely monitoring Syria's proliferation-sensitive materials and facilities, and we believe that Syria's chemical weapons stockpile remains under Syrian government control," Carney said.
Earlier, U.S. National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor warned that time was running out for a political transition in Syria.
"The sooner this transition happens, the greater the chance we have of averting a lengthy and bloody sectarian civil war and the better we'll be able to help Syrians manage a stable transition to democracy," he said.
Republican critics of President Barack Obama—notably Sen. John McCain—have called for a harder line, and even for Washington to arm the rebels. The administration has said that it is providing communications and other aid short of weapons, and warned that arming the insurgency would only escalate the violence and risk seeing lethal assistance fall into the wrong hands. But Obama aides have acknowledged deep frustration, and even anger, with the role Moscow and Beijing have played.
MTW-How would everyone like to have that “Cold War” thing come back? Obama cannot handle the Foreign Affairs of a sitting President, but we should have boomers sitting off of their coast RIGHT NOW. Maybe we do. That would not be such a problem. The Government will not tell us, and I am glad, as hopefully the Joint Chiefs are not total idiots. I believe that China, believing that they are able to tell the United States what to do, for we owe them money (Capitalist Communists), and the former USSR could revert back to the “old days” when our Countries were at odds. We do not want this. China is getting WAY too big- at least their talk- for their britches. Either way, I believe our three Countries, the most powerful in the World, the Top 3, should be able to work together. I want us to get along with Russia, and be shown the respect we deserve by China. We need a man in the White House that could command a modicum of respect from both. I was behind Obama, post- election, as a Patriotic American backs his leader; however, I will not sit idly by and watch this Great Nation keep going down in the eyes of the World. I do not like the gun control treaty. That should be interesting to see the UN enforce. I am even hearing that those Americans who will not turn over their guns after this UN Treaty will be killed by the US Military. Seriously, however I do not know this to be true. They really do not have a clue how many of us are armed. I want the United Nations off of our soil, as they are completely inept, and impotent. They chose IRAN to be on the committee who decides on the treaty. Russian people, our President is trying to destroy us. We will not let it happen. We want the same freedoms for you, as we have (or used to have, and we want them back). Are you alright with your President Putin being an ally with a Communist Nation such as China? I hope not. We are not at all very different, and we even have a joint International Space Station, which China was denied access to. Did you know that? Is China using you? Does Russia owe them money as well? We need to be the peaceful Nations. Can we make it happen? We need you, the Russian People, to let your leaders know. But, only if you agree.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

NAGR On UN Small Arms Treaty

Dear American Citizen,
The fate of our Second Amendment rests in the hands of United Nations' do-gooders and dictators.
They’re gathering in New York City to iron out the final details of the now infamous U.N. "Small Arms Treaty."
And I promise you will be reeling as you try to wrap your head around their latest move.
Sources have revealed that the famously corrupt anti-gun diplomats at the U.N. have given IRAN a key seat at the negotiations for the global arms treaty.

The same Iran that just days ago was exposed supplying arms to the brutal Assad regime in civil war-torn Syria. The same Iran that beats peaceful protestors in the streets and denies firearms to most of its citizens.
Do you want to know who else has a seat at the table to carve-up your gun rights?
Egypt, China, Belarus and Nigeria among others.
But I have even more disturbing news.
The greatest threat to our gun rights doesn’t come from the sands of the Middle East . . .
. . . It comes from ivory tower diplomats in nations like Japan, Mexico and Australia.
These countries are on record at the U.N. saying, “. . . small arms and light weapons [read: the guns in YOUR gun case] are truly weapons of mass destruction.”
These anti-gun diplomats want to impose their gun control schemes on freedom-loving Americans. Japan brags, “We strictly punish and control the possession and use of small arms by civilians. . .”
Our "friends" down under in Australia love to point out, “. . . Firearm owners in Australia must also demonstrate a genuine reason for [gun] ownership.”

Insiders have pointed out that Australia has picked up the tab for 50 delegates from 35 less-developed nations to attend the meeting.
These poor delegates receive a free month-long vacation to New York City, and we’re to believe they’re not going to back their gun-grabbing patrons with a "yes vote" on the "Small Arms Treaty?"
Even far left-wing "Non-Governmental Organizations" have been known to staff smaller nations at the U.N. or take their delegate seats entirely.
Closer to home, Mexico is spear-heading an effort at the U.N. to target the ownership and sale of civilian firearms in the United States.
The Delegation of Mexico has said, "This treaty must cover all type of conventional weapons, without differentiation on its supposed use."
Just as we warned, Mexico is using the Obama administration's Fast and Furious debacle as their justification to take your Second Amendment rights.
What this all boils down to is a large majority of U.N. diplomats are poised to push a so-called "Small Arms Treaty" in the coming weeks that is a direct attack on your gun rights.
That’s why for almost seven years the National Association for Gun Rights has been leading the opposition to the U.N. "Small Arms Treaty."
NAGR was fighting the U.N. Gun Ban long before any other gun group, and has collected more than 975,000 petitions against the "Small Arms Treaty."
Will you stand with me against these thugs to protect our Second Amendment rights? For Freedom,

Dudley Brown
Executive Vice President
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Obama Took Donations From Bain- The Hypocrit

Romney Camp Calls Obama Taking Bain Donations 'Height of Hypocrisy'
By Devin Dwyer | ABC OTUS News

While Democrats assail presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's Bain Capital business practices, Republicans note that President Obama has not been bashful about accepting cash from Bain executives or other high-profile figures in the corporate buyout business.
"President Obama has based his entire reelection campaign on a vicious, dishonest assault on Mitt Romney's business career. The real question for President Obama is this: if Bain Capital is so bad, why have you taken nearly $120,000 in donations from them?" said Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul. "President Obama's actions are the height of hypocrisy."
Obama and his re-election campaign have been hammering Romney for reaping huge profits at the helm of Bain, while companies in which the firm invested went bankrupt, laid off workers or outsourced jobs overseas.
"Romney and his partners put payments to themselves and their partners first, before anything else," David Foster, a former union leader at Bain-owned GST Steel, which later went bankrupt, told reporters on a conference call.
"I was the one who had to tell [the laid off workers] that Bain had broken its promises, underfunded their pensions and that they were on their own," he said, noting that Bain had devastated families and real lives.
According to the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks Federal Election Commission data, Obama has collected $118,121 from donors who list Bain as their employer between June 2004 and May 2012. The period covers Obama's bid for the Senate and his presidential campaigns.
One of Obama's top campaign financiers - Jonathan Lavine - is also managing director at Bain, bundling between $100,000 and $200,000 in contributions for the 2012 Obama Victory Fund, according to estimates released by the Obama campaign. The president has also relied on other leading figures in the private equity sector as hosts for high-dollar fundraisers and as members of his Jobs Council.
Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt denied there was a double standard, saying the attacks on Romney are not about Bain Capital or private equity but about the candidate's business record.
"Mitt Romney is the only person campaigning for president who says that during his tenure as a corporate buyout specialist his goal was job creation and that we should evaluate his qualifications for the presidency based on that record," LaBolt told reporters on a conference call.
"As the president has made clear when he's discussed this, the job of the President of the United States is to worry about the workers and the livelihoods of middle-class families just as much as it is to worry about profit creation," he said.
MTW-Of course Obama is a hypocrit. I have been writing about it ad nauseum. I still cannot figure out how this non-citizen conned his way into our Government. He is completely full of shit, and he needs to GO AWAY. No more Obama!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Warren Buffet's How To Fix Congress

This really happened in an interview with CBS.
IT IS BETTER TO REMAIN SILENT AND THOUGHT A FOOL THAN TO SPEAKUP AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT--ABE LINCOLN
Warren Buffet's idea on how to end the U.S. Government's deficit -
Warren Buffet: "I could end the deficit in 5 minutes", he told CNBC.
Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes about the debt ceiling:
"I could end the deficit in 5 minutes", he told CNBC. "You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election".
The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months, 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971—before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc.
Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took one (1) year or less to become the law of the land—all because of public pressure.
Congressional Reform Act of 2012:
1. No Tenure/No Pension.
A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.
2. Congress (past, present, and future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 1/1/13. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.
Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!
MTW-I agree with Mr. Buffet, yet I wrote about this very topic, and details a few months ago. You forgot the Supreme Court, with lifetime serving on the bench, no matter how old and foolish they become.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

NAGR On The Disclose Act

Dear American Citizen,
Anti-gun Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wants to make pro-freedom groups like the National Association for Gun Rights shut their mouths.
And he has scheduled a vote today on the DISCLOSE Act (S. 3369) to do just that.
That's why I need you to call your U.S. Senators at 202-224-3121 right now and demand they vote "NO" on the DISCLOSE Act at every opportunity.
If DISCLOSE becomes law, the National Association for Gun Rights could be forced to turn over personal information of our donors if we spend more than $10,000 in a new mandatory government reporting period.
Take a second to think about what this means . . .
During election season, if NAGR tells our members and supporters that their elected officials voted for an anti-gun bill, a government bureaucrat could decide NAGR is "electioneering" and force us to turn over private donor information.
Plain and simple, the DISCLOSE Act is an attempt to quiet gun owners and shred our First Amendment rights.
Please call your U.S. Senators right now.
202-224-3121
Let them know that you want them to vote "NO" on the DISCLOSE Act and that you will consider a vote for the bill an anti-gun vote.
You may remember that NAGR led the fight against the DISCLOSE Act in June of 2010. Calls and emails from grassroots gun rights supporters pushed back against DISCLOSE then, but it's back and the vote could happen at any moment today.
So please, call your U.S. Senators right now at 202-224-3121 and demand they vote "NO" on the DISCLOSE Act (S. 3369).
Thanks in advance for taking action.
For Freedom,
Dudley Brown

Executive Vice President
P.S. The National Association for Gun Rights is working literally day and night to defeat the DISCLOSE Act.
MTW-Just passing on the information from the NAGR.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Outsourcing

Who's the real 'outsourcer in chief'? Why Obama, Romney both shoulder blame.
The trend of outsourcing US jobs predates either President Obama or Mitt Romney, but both have contributed to it in different ways, according to one economist.
By Mark Trumbull, Staff writer / July 11, 2012 Christian Science Monitor
President Obama speaks at the TPI Composites Factory, which manufactures wind turbine blades, earlier this year in Newton, Iowa. Republicans say Obama's energy policies have led to outsourcing. Charlie Neibergall/AP/File
Team Obama says Mitt Romney has been a big outsourcer of US jobs. Now Mr. Romney fires the same charge back at President Obama.
Who's right? And how important is this issue to voters?
Although both sides have used the phrase "outsourcer in chief" about the other, it wouldn't be fair to view either the president or his Republican rival as a prime culprit in the shift of US jobs overseas. That trend became well established without either of them playing a central role.
But some economists say it's valid to find some fault with both leaders on the issue of jobs moving offshore. And it's an issue that many voters care about, so you can expect to see more attack ads on this subject between now and Election Day.
Instances of inappropriate outsourcing "swell the trade deficit, which imposes great costs" on the economy, economist Peter Morici argues in a written analysis Wednesday. "Both President Obama and Governor Romney own some of that problem."
Amid the election campaign's broader focus on jobs and economic growth, both campaigns are purposefully confusing the issue in their political advertisements, he adds.
In one swing state, the Obama team recently asked in an ad: "Does Iowa really want an outsourcer-in-chief in the White House?" The ad points to a Washington Post article describing how Bain Capital, the company Romney founded and headed, invested in firms that that specialized in helping other employers expand operations overseas.
Romney and fellow Republicans have turned the label around. "This president has been outsourcing a good deal of American jobs himself by putting money into ... solar and wind energy companies that end up making their products outside the United States," Romney said in another swing state, Colorado. "If there's an outsourcer in chief, it's the president of the United States, not the guy who's running to replace him."
But outside fact checkers have rated some Republican claims – such as one that says $500 million has gone to fund electric-car production in Finland – as exaggerated or deceptive.
Similarly, watchdogs including FactCheck.org and the Washington Post's own "Fact Checker" have poked holes in Obama's ads. "We found no evidence to support the claim that Romney – while he was still running Bain Capital – shipped American jobs overseas," says a recent analysis by FactCheck.org, a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania.
In Mr. Morici's view, the legitimate problem is what he calls inappropriate outsourcing – when the location of jobs and production is influenced by government trade barriers or subsidies, for example.
He says Obama has contributed to the offshoring trend in several ways: He has failed to take a tough stand on anticompetitive trade practices by China, and he has taken a relatively restrictive stance on oil and gas development in the US, thus shifting energy jobs overseas.
As for Romney, the private-equity industry focuses on buying and reselling businesses – often resulting in the movement of brands, patents, and factories overseas, Morici says. Although private-equity restructuring deals may play a useful role in the economy, they have "an inherent bias toward outsourcing," he adds.
Not every economist agrees with Morici that inappropriate outsourcing is a major problem.
But the voting public views it as a significant concern. One Gallup poll last year asked Americans their top ideas for creating more US jobs. The top solution offered – ahead of tax cuts, stimulus efforts, or streamlining regulation – was to stop sending jobs overseas.
Outsourcing gets a bad rap even though it's a basic element of a free-market economy, says Morici, an economist at the University of Maryland. Free trade, including the sourcing of parts and labor overseas, brings enormous benefits to the economy, he and other trade experts say.
"If Americans expect folks abroad to purchase Boeing aircraft and Intel processors, then they had better be prepared to outsource some of what they purchase," Morici writes.
MTW-So, both sides are lying or exaggerating which one of them outsources the most. Obama says that Romney outsourced jobs. I am sure a company he had ties to did; however, he was NOT the President of the United States when this happened. Anyone catch on to that? No more Obama!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Ralph Lauren Promises American Made Uniforms For 2014

Ralph Lauren promises 2014 Olympic Opening Ceremony outfits will be American-made
By Maggie Hendricks | Fourth-Place Medal
After a firestorm erupted when it was discovered that Ralph Lauren's U.S. Opening Ceremony outfits were manufactured in China, the clothing company announced the outfits for the 2014 Olympics in Sochi would be American-made.
Ralph Lauren released this statement:
For more than 45 years Ralph Lauren has built a brand that embodies the best of American quality and design rooted in the rich heritage of our country. We are honored to continue our longstanding relationship with the United States Olympic Committee in the 2014 Olympic Games by serving as an Official Outfitter of the US Olympic and Paralympic teams. Ralph Lauren promises to lead the conversation within our industry and our government to address the issue to increase manufacturing in the United States. We have committed to producing the Opening and Closing Ceremony Team USA uniforms in the United States that will be worn for the 2014 Olympic Games.
Yes, they promise to lead the conversation after members of Congress threatened to burn the uniforms. The U.S. Olympic Committee CEO Scott Blackmun also released a statement.
We take seriously the concerns we've heard from members of Congress and the American public regarding the U.S. Olympic Team's Opening and Closing Ceremonies uniforms.
With athletes having already arrived in London, and the apparel distribution process beginning this weekend, we are unfortunately not able to make a change for London. We are absolutely committed, however, to working with our sponsors to ensure that the concerns voiced are addressed. To that end, Ralph Lauren has agreed to domestically manufacture Team USA's apparel for Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
With 406 athletes, changing the outfits would be a logistical nightmare, but this should put it to bed for now. Addressing this issue now is the smart move for both groups because they want the focus to be on the athletes.
Hopefully, it will also knock Congress and everyone else complaining about the issue off their high horses. Anyone spending time and anger on this subject should take a minute to think about when they last purchased something based on where the item was made. Instead, they should be angry over the fact American Olympians are once again forced to wear funny hats.
MTW-I googled Ralph Lauren label pictures. Some of their products say "Made It Italy" on them. So, they are an American Company? Bullshit! The statement alone from Lauren and the US Olympic Committee Chairman have given, are very strange sounding, as if Made in USA has something wrong with it. It does for them, money, or the loss thereof. They should be held to a very high standard if they make the clothing for OUR Olympians.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Congress Finally Noticed The Olympic Team Uniforms

Lawmakers Want 'Made in China' U.S. Olympic Uniforms Burned
By Sunlen Miller | ABC News
Lawmakers Want 'Made in China' U.S. Olympic Uniforms Burned (ABC News)
Lawmakers were outraged Thursday after an ABC World News report revealed that the U.S. Olympic team's opening ceremony outfits are made in China. Some suggested making a bonfire with the outfits, which include berets and blazers.
"I think they should take all the uniforms, put them in a big pile and burn them and start all over again," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said when asked by ABC News today, "If they have to wear nothing but a symbol that says USA on it, painted by hand, that is what they should wear."
Team USA will be marching into the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony wearing Ralph Lauren blazers and berets, much as they did four years ago when Lauren dressed them. ABC's Sharyn Alfonsi reported Wednesday evening that every clothing item that the U.S. athletes will be wearing at the opening ceremony in London will carry an overseas label.
Reid said today that the U.S. Olympic committee should be "ashamed of themselves," and "embarrassed," that the items were made in China, especially with people in the textile industry in America who are looking for jobs.
The Congressional reaction on Capitol Hill today extended to both houses and both parties.
"You'd think they know better," Speaker of the House John Boehner, R-OH., said in response to a question from ABC News today.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said that since the Olympic athletes represent the very best in America they should be wearing uniforms made in America. "They work so hard. They represent the very best, and they're so excellent. It's all so beautiful. And they should be wearing uniforms that are made in America."
Already there is a movement on Capitol Hill to make changes so this does not happen again at future Olympic Games. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., and Rep. Steve Israel, D-N.Y., wrote a letter Thursday morning to the chairman of the U.S. Olympic Committee, Lawrence Probst, calling this revelation "shocking and deeply disappointing" and asking all U.S. team's uniforms be made in America in the future.
"We are asking that the Committee and its Board of Directors take immediate steps to guarantee that this embarrassment does not happen again by voting that any future contracts for Olympic uniforms are made in America," Gillibrand and Israel write in their letter, "This would ensure that U.S. Olympians are supporting American jobs. As American fans cheer for our Olympians, we should also be cheering for the American manufacturers and laborers reflected in the red, white and blue on their uniforms." Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-OH., who has legislation pending in Congress to strengthen "Buy America" provisions for federal tax dollars also sent a letter to U.S. Olympic Committee today calling for the group to scrap this year's uniforms and find a domestic manufacturer to remake them.
"The USOC holds its athletes to a high moral and ethical standard, and has a no tolerance policy for cheating or violating rules," Sen. Brown writes in his letter to Chairman Probst, "But China continues to cheat when it comes to international trade. As we work to achieve a level playing field for American manufacturers and workers, the USOC should act immediately to find a domestic manufacturer for this year's uniforms."
Brown calls for the USOC to enact policies to ensure that America's athletes wear only clothing that is Made-in-America in the next 2014 games.
ABC News reached out to Ralph Lauren and the U.S. Olympic Committee Wednesday and asked why American-made clothing had not been selected for the athletes. The committee responded with a statement: "The U.S. Olympic team is privately funded and we're grateful for the support of our sponsors. We're proud of our partnership with Ralph Lauren, an iconic American company."
MTW-I agree with the bonfire. Count me in. I believe that it is absurd for a company like Ralph Lauren to outsource our US Olympic Team's uniforms, or any of their clothing at all to China. We need jobs here, but these companies make a ton of money getting things made CHEAPLY in China, and then mark it up 1000%. F-China. Finally, the Republicans abd Democrats agree on something. Too bad it is meaningless for us as Citizens. Did you all see how much Lauren is charging just for the opening day uniform outfits? For the men, it is $1965 for the outfit, and $1473 for the women. This is per person. Are you outraged yet? I am. Ralph Lauren needs to change its name to something Chinese.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Watch Out For Propecia and Finasteride Men

For Some Men, Propecia's Sexual Side Effects May Be Long-lasting
By CARRIE GANN, ABC News Medical Unit | Good Morning America
For Some Men, Propecia's Sexual Side Effects May Be Long-lasting (ABC News)
Kevin Malley was almost 30, and he was starting to lose his hair. He went to his doctor to see if there was a way to keep from going bald, and his doctor prescribed Propecia.

"I looked young for my age, so I wanted to hold off my hair loss for a little bit," Malley said. "I didn't plan on taking Propecia for more than a year."
Malley started taking the drug in May 2011, and by October he was completely impotent and had no sex drive whatsoever. His body changed, even his genitals shrank, and he slipped into a mental fog that he just couldn't clear. His doctor told him the side effects would go away if he stopped taking the drug, so he did. But nothing changed. "I kept expecting the side effects to go away, but they did not, they only got worse," he said.
Malley is not alone: A new study published today in the Journal of Sexual Medicine suggests that for some men, the sexual side effects of Propecia may last for months to years, even after they stop taking the drug.
Researchers from George Washington University interviewed 54 men under age 40 who reported side effects for three months or more after taking Propecia, also called finasteride, to treat their hair loss. None of the men reported having any sexual,
medical or psychiatric problems before they took the drug. Some of the men took the drug for a few weeks, others took it for years, but all of them reported side effects such as erectile dysfunction, decreased sexual drive, problems with orgasms, shrinking and painful genitals, even some neurological problems, such as depression, anxiety and mental fogginess.
For 96 percent of the men, the sexual problems lasted for more than a year after they stopped taking the drug.
"Our findings make me suspicious that this drug may have done permanent damage to these men," said Dr. Michael Irwig, the author of the study. "The chances that they will improve? I think it's lower and lower the longer they have these side effects."
Irwig cautions that it's possible that only men who were the most affected by the drug participated in the study. Because he recruited his study participants through an online forum called PropeciaHelp, a group for men who have experienced persistent sexual side effects from the drug, he said the study may not have included men who have fewer or less pervasive side effects.
FDA, Merck Know of Drug's Side Effects
Finasteride works by blocking the conversion of testosterone into a more potent form, called DHT, which contributes to hair loss. It was originally developed in 1992 by drug giant Merck as a treatment for enlarged prostates and sold as the drug Proscar.
Propecia was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 1997, and at that time Merck noted that a few men reported sexual side effects during clinical trials of the drug. On its website, the agency said those side effects were resolved when patients stopped taking the drug.
But the agency received more than 400 reports over 13 years from consumers reporting sexual dysfunction, and nearly 60 men reported that those side effects lasted longer than three months after the men stopped the medication. In 2011, the FDA mandated a label change for Propecia and Proscar, warning that some patients reported erectile dysfunction that lasted after patients stopped taking it; in April, the agency updated the label to include reports of libido, ejaculation and orgasm disorders.
In a statement, Merck said no evidence has proved a causal relationship between Propecia and long-lasting sexual dysfunction.
"Merck believes that Propecia (finasteride) has demonstrated safety and efficacy profiles and that the product labeling appropriately describes the benefits and risks of the drug to help inform prescribing," the company wrote in the statement.
But researchers say many physicians who prescribe finasteride are likely not aware that the side effects of the drug may haunt patients for years.
"These things just get handed out left and right for any urinary symptoms," said Dr. Ryan Terlecki, an assistant professor of urology at Wake Forest School of Medicine, who has prescribed Proscar for some of his patients with enlarged prostates.
Terlecki said the findings about long-term side effects from the drug are alarming, but more research will likely be needed before doctors can know for sure that the symptoms are completely attributed to the drug.
"There are so many things that go into the male erectile response," he said. "You have to be very careful before you attribute it to one cause or another."
Men Report Neurological Side Effects, Too
Malley said before he took Propecia, he was a normal, ambitious guy. He was engaged and worked as a public health researcher at a university in Las Vegas.
"Before, I would get up at eight in the morning, go to work, go to school, go to the gym, come home, have sex with my girlfriend. I had a lot of ambition, I had career goals," he said. "Now basically I just sit in my room all day and don't talk to anyone."
His fiancée broke off their engagement, and Malley had to resign from his job because of his persistent cognitive symptoms. He has sought treatment for these side effects, but doctors told him there's nothing they can do for him. He said he is angry that no one told him that the drug might change his life so dramatically.
"Even if the side effects are rare, that doesn't mean that I should not have been warned. I did have a life before this," he said.
Steven Rossello, 29, said his doctor made no mention of the potential for any sort of side effects from finasteride when he prescribed it to treat Rossello's hair loss in 2010.
"That's what really makes me really mad. He never mentioned any side effects, not to mention that they last forever," Rossello said.
But after four months of taking Propecia, Rossello said he began suffering anxiety and crippling depression, along with the drug's sexual side effects, and decided to stop taking the drug.
But his symptoms only got worse. He was demoted from his job as an investigator for the Department of Homeland Security in Texas after his symptoms were evaluated by a psychiatrist, who pronounced him unfit for duty. Rossello said the psychiatrist was unfamiliar with the neurological side effects of Propecia.
Abdulmaged Traish, a professor of biochemistry and urology at Boston University School of Medicine, said scientists are just beginning to investigate finasteride's effects on the brain and nervous system.
"We are just beginning to venture in that direction. It might be in the next five to 10 years that we may find there's more to this story than we know now," Traish said. He said he would not advise men to take this drug to treat a cosmetic problem like hair loss.
"Why take that chance? Telling the risks of the drug is fine, but most physicians don't sit and take the time to explain to their patients the possible effects of these drugs."
On its website, the FDA said only 36 of 945 men who took Propecia in clinical trials reported any adverse sexual side effects. Irwig agrees that the number of men who will experience these long-lasting side effects is relatively small, likely around 3 percent of all men who take the drug.
"But because the medication is prescribed so commonly, it's still a lot of people, likely several thousand men around the world," he said.
And currently, doctors have no way of knowing which patients will suffer the long-term side effects. Irvig said it's possible that an unknown genetic factor drives how individual men respond to the drug.
Both Malley and Rosello were not involved in Irwig's study, but they are two of many men who have joined class-action lawsuits against Merck over the side effects of Propecia. In May, Malley camped out in front of Merck's headquarters in New Jersey for a week, staging a hunger strike to protest the company's response to Propecia's side effects. A representative came out to deliver a letter to him, detailing how he could report his symptoms to the company.
Malley has a simple message for men who might consider taking Propecia for their hair loss.
"Stay away from it at all costs," he said.
MTW-This should be taken seriously. My doctor tried to give me Finasteride to keep my hairline from receding. I was prescribed 5 mg pills, which I was then supposed to cut up and make 1 mg doses out of it. Then, I found out that an older family member was on the drug for his prostate troubles. I did not take them for more than a few days. Doctors these days do not listen to you, nor does anyone in Healthcare, and they only know what they have read. To them, it is Gospel if they read it. They act like they know everything, but they do not. Personal experience cannot be beaten. They, for the most part do not. I have found, however, several P.A.s at the center for back problems that I go to have had surgeries done to them by the doctor they work for. I am very skeptical when I hear this, and see no scar. I have scars easily seen if asked to show, and some that you can see all of the time. I am off topic. Stay the hell away from Finasteride men. Propecia has Finasteride in it. Merck wants money; when is the last time the pharmaceutical companies actually cured something, rather than make a drug for us to live with our ailments?
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Obama Thinks His Biggest Mistake Is...Well, I Do Not Get It, He Is Our BIGGEST Mistake Ever

Obama: Biggest mistake too much perspiration, not enough inspiration
By Olivier Knox, Yahoo! News White House Correspondent | The Ticket

Call it "too much substance, not enough style?" President Barack Obama says his biggest mistake since getting to the White House three and a half years ago has been his tendency to tackle the job as national policy wonk rather than the inspiring figure he cut in the 2008 campaign.
"When I think about what we've done well and what we haven't done well," the president told CBS television in an interview, "the mistake of my first term - couple of years - was thinking that this job was just about getting the policy right."
"And that's important. But the nature of this office is also to tell a story to the American people that gives them a sense of unity and purpose and optimism, especially during tough times," Obama said in an excerpt of the exchange with Charlie Rose.
Presidents — politicians in general — tend to sidestep questions about their biggest mistake in office, though they sometimes stumble spectacularly over them (as George W. Bush did in April 2004), or offer up a self-serving answer that might be lampooned as "I just love America too much." Obama seems to be saying that, dagnabbit, he just took the job too gosh-darn seriously. Republicans wasted little time in mocking the answer. Republican National Committee spokesman Tim Miller tweeted "I'd go w/ utter economic failure."
And Mitt Romney hit out hard at Obama: "Being president is not about telling stories." "Being president is about leading, and President Obama has failed to lead. No wonder Americans are losing faith in his presidency," Romney said in a statement.
Obama also seemed to make the argument that he just can't catch a break.
"It's funny - when I ran, everybody said, 'well he can give a good speech but can he actually manage the job?'" he said. "And in my first two years, I think the notion was, 'Well, he's been juggling and managing a lot of stuff, but where's the story that tells us where he's going?' And I think that was a legitimate criticism."
"So getting out of this town, spending more time with the American people, listening to them, and also, then, being in a conversation with them about where do we go together as a country, I need to do a better job of that in my second term," the president said.
Rose pressed him, asking whether he means explaining, and Obama replied: "Explaining — but also inspiring."
"Because hope is still there," First Lady Michelle Obama added.
CBS will broadcast more of the interview on Sunday morning and Monday morning.
MTW-That is because EVERYTHING which was promised to the American People was a lie. Who are these two trying to fool? If they are guaranteed 96% of the Black vote, what does that tell you about this Country? Black folks want one of their own, and actually believe he is trying to help them. I do not see how they have come to this conclusion. He is HALF BLACK AND HALF WHITE PEOPLE! The White in him does not care about you, and the Black in him is more Arab than Black, and incompetent, or fulfilling a mission. The "change" he and his globe-trotting wife have given us has weakened us in the eyes of the World. Now, Obamacare will give every employer the right to stop giving their workers healthcare benefits, thus, everybody pays the tax to get coverage; if you do not pay- well, not much chance you will not, as the IRS will simply take the money. Those who happen to escape the tax will be punished. This is Socialism, and Obama's mentor, and most of his family, Black and White are and were Communists or Socialists. He grew up that way. Everything we see- well, I do not, as I turn the channel- when he is on the television is merely a facade. Those two can sit there playing dumb all they want. I do not think that they are playing or pretending to be morons. They are greedy morons. No more Obamas in the White House! He talks as if he has already been reelected. That bothers me.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Bocephus Does Not Like Obama Either

Hank Williams Jr. Claims Obama Hates America
By Wendy Geller | Our Country
Hank Williams Jr. {photo: Frederick Breedon IV}
It's no secret that Hank Williams Jr. is no fan of our country's current administration--last year, he infamously compared the president to Hitler during an appearance on Fox & Friends. However, in a new interview with Rolling Stone, the always-outspoken country legend leaves no doubt as to just how much he dislikes President Obama.
"The guy is the worst," Hank Jr. noted, point-blank. "Giveaway programs, hates America in the first place, forget about the flag."
When asked to elaborate why exactly he thought the president hated America, Junior again minced no words: "It's kind of obvious. I guess when you take a tour, a world tour, to apologize for America. He did that...You know, 'We're sorry.' Going on a world tour saying, 'We're going to be even with everyone else, we only have 6 percent of the population.'"
Hank Jr. also cited the poor economy as a reason for his displeasure, saying that the country has "borrowed ourselves into our poor grandchildren," and that his already-low opinion of Obama has only gotten worse.
"There's a whole lot of us out here, we flip the tube off when that guy comes on. We're not listening and we ain't watching," he noted.
When asked if he supports Mitt Romney, Bocephus was lukewarm, saying that he is behind the GOP candidate but doesn't plan to actively help out his campaign. "I mean, we've got the worst in history. We've got to have something," he explained. "We've got to have a change, that's for sure."
Hank Jr. is currently promoting his new album, Old School New Rules, which dropped on Tuesday and contains a number of songs with political and patriotic themes.
MTW-I really cannot add anything to what old Bocephus said. I dislike the man as well. He needs to go. No more Obama!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

ABC News' Sharyn Alfonsi reports:
They are the pride of America - Team U.S.A. - and for the opening ceremonies of the Summer Olympics in London, they'll be proudly wearing red, white and blue, from beret to blazer.
The classic American style - shown in an image above - was crafted by designer Ralph Lauren. But just how American is it?

When ABC News looked at the labels, it found "made in China."
Every item in the uniforms that the U.S. athletes will be wearing at the opening ceremony in London will carry an overseas label.
Nanette Lepore, one of the top U.S. fashion designers, said she was shocked that none of the uniforms had been made in the states. Further, Lepore said that it was "absolutely" possible that the athletes could have been outfitted in U.S.-made clothing. She said U.S. manufactures could have easily made the uniforms - and for less.
Here's how much the uniforms cost:
Men:
Beret - $55
Tie - $125
Belt - $85
Shirt - $425
Blazer - $795
Trousers - $295
Shoes - $165
Women:
Beret - $55
Scarf - $58
Belt - $85
Shirt - $179
Skirt - $498
Blazer - $598
"Why shouldn't we have pride not only in the American athletes, but in the American manufacturers and laborers who are the backbone of our country?" Lepore said to ABC News. "Why? What's wrong? Why was that not a consideration?"
ABC News reached out to Lauren and the U.S. Olympic Committee and asked why American-made clothing had not been selected for the athletes.
The committee said: "The U.S. Olympic team is privately funded and we're grateful for the support of our sponsors. We're proud of our partnership with Ralph Lauren, an iconic American company."
MTW-But all of Obama's commercials say Mitt Romney is the King of outsourcing. I am confused. No, just kidding. Ralph Lauren is made in China? Privately funded Olympic Team? Maybe the Mayans were right about the World ending in December.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Eric Holder On Voter ID Laws- NO CREDIBILITY

Eric Holder on voter ID laws: ‘We call those poll taxes’

Speaking before the NAACP, Attorney General Eric Holder departed from his prepared speech on Tuesday, decrying voter ID laws that have been proposed in 10 states so far. Talking Points Memo reports:
"Under the proposed law, concealed handgun licenses would be acceptable forms of photo ID, but student IDs would not," Holder said. "Many of those without IDs would have to travel great distances to get them, and some would struggle to pay for the documents they might need to obtain them. We call those poll taxes."
Holder isn't the first to say such laws are racist. Benjamin Todd Jealous, CEO and president of the NCAAP, evoked the civil rights movement Monday, comparing the moment to "Selma and Montgomery times." Jealous unilaterally opposed the laws,
saying, "Simply put, the NAACP will never stand by as any state tries to encode discrimination into law."
Mitt Romney will speak before the NAACP on Wednesday. Jealous, who posits that Romney could garner more votes from African Americans than John McCain did in 2008 when Barack Obama received 96 percent of the black vote, believes Romney's economic message has not played well so far.
"If he's going to pick up more support in the black community," Jealous told the Times, "he has to send a message that he's prepared to lead on issues that we care about." For Jealous, that means opposing voter ID laws.
Romney has so far been reticent to discuss the issue. Andrea Saul, a campaign spokeswoman, told the Times only, "Gov. Romney believes that every legal vote should count."
MTW- It is a hardship for anybody of any color, or creed, to go to the well-run Department of Motor Vehicles, and timely receive a photo ID. I believe these are not laws targeting the Black Community, which I have a great deal of respect for. It is aimed at preventing illegal aliens, without Citizenship of THIS Country, to cast a vote for Obama, as they are in his debt through his stopping of deportations. Eric Holder, at this point, has zero credibility to even have an opinion. It simply shows that he is not worried about his Contempt of Congress charge, as his fellow Chicago hoodlum, the infamous Barry Soetoro- Obama, will pardon him if he is convicted. Even Holder seems to think Barry is a shoe-in, or the election is already fixed; so why should he worry? Obama’s Executive Privilege used on the Operation Fast and Furious was not allowable. Should not the President of the United States know when it is his right to use the Privilege? I would think that he should. Did he not graduate from Harvard? When did he change his name to Obama after his Foreign Exchange Student Scholarship at Occidental, when he was an Indonesian Citizen named Barry Soetoro? It sounds a little like fraud to me. He has conned his way into office, and has done one horrible job. The present Administration has our Government running nearly as effective as the DMV. Like shit. We do not need any more Obama, or whatever name he is currently going by, which of his multiple Social Security numbers he uses, nor do we need any more of his continuous stream of lies. No More Obama! We do need to make sure ALL of the people who cast a vote are indeed American Citizens, and also not a deceased persons whom have had their identity stolen by an illegal. They will. They owe him for just being here. Why is this a hardship which is only spoken of for pertaining to the Black Community? I cannot figure it out. Do they not drive, or have the ID to get prescriptions? They should have a Birth Certificate to get a license to drive, or any other form of legal Identification. I sure as hell did, just like my Parents, and Grandparents before them. I believe they are counting their illegal votes before they have been cast, and are getting mad as hell if it seems they cannot steal another election. You need a Driver’s License or photo ID to pawn something, or cash a check, open a bank account, and many, many other everyday things Americans do. Enough said. You even need a photo ID to go to the Hospital. What the Hell is going on? You have to have Identification for EVERY other thing in this Country. Why not, for the MOST important thing to ID people for, a Presidential Election? Why is this a form of discrimination to Black People? The best bit of info I got from this article is this: The President of the NAACP is Ben Jealous. I think that says it all. Seriously, comparing the need for Identification to Selma and Mongomery times? Really? Wow! Who is actually more racist, Black people, or White people? We all know the answer.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Government Overpaid 14 Billion In Unemployment Benefits

By Annalyn Censky | CNNMoney.com
Don't spend that unemployment check too fast. The government might ask you to pay it back.
Overpayments are a rampant problem in the unemployment insurance system. The federal government and states overpaid an estimated $14 billion in benefits in fiscal 2011, or roughly 11% of all the jobless benefits paid out, according to reports from the U.S. Labor Department.
Of the states, Indiana was the worst offender, making more improper payments than it did correct ones.
Now, the U.S. Department of Labor and the states are in the midst of a massive effort to try to recoup some of their lost funds and avoid future overpayments.
Where does the money go?
The vast majority of unemployment benefits do go to people in need. In 2010 alone they helped keep 3.2 million Americans out of poverty, according to the Census Bureau.
But of the overpaid funds, most end up in the hands of three types of people: Those who aren't actively searching for a job, those who were fired or quit voluntarily, and those who continue to file claims even though they've returned to work. Any of those circumstances would make a person ineligible for benefits.
The overpayment typically results from an administrative error made either by the government, the employer, the worker or a combination of the three.
In much rarer situations, people deliberately defraud the system, using fake documents or identities. Common scams involve prison inmates, illegal immigrants or even the deceased.
Ryan Greminger, 36, of Richmond, Ind. collected unemployment benefits while serving two years in a county jail for a drug-related crime.
"It's not like some big scheme I thought of," he said. Greminger had been laid off from a factory in 2007 and was originally collecting unemployment benefits legally.
After he landed in jail, another inmate urged him to keep filing the claims.
"I paid this guy $50 each time to have his girlfriend -- a woman I had never met -- file my unemployment claims."
Greminger said he knew it was wrong at the time, but he went along with the plan because he needed child support money for his fiancé and their four kids. Out of prison now, he's currently working to repay more than $14,000 to the state.
"I accept responsibility for what I did. It was wrong. It was a mistake," he said. "I'm paying for it now."
Clawing back payments
Vice President Joe Biden is charged with leading the Campaign to Cut Waste, an initiative started last year that aims to cut overpayments at federal agencies.
Unemployment insurance boasts the second highest rate for "improper payments" of any federal program, behind the National School Lunch Program.
"Unemployment checks are going to people in prison. Unemployment checks are going to graveyards," Biden said in September.
The Labor Department estimates that roughly half of its overpayments are recoverable, but falls far short of recouping that much. Historically, only about a quarter of the estimated "recoverable" overpayments have actually been recovered, said Gay Gilbert, administrator in the Labor Department's Office of Unemployment Insurance.
That said, she thinks preventative measures are starting to work.
"We believe our improper payment rate has very slightly started to tick down," Gilbert said.
When the government finds someone was overpaid, it often issues a letter asking the claimant to return the extra funds. In some states, workers can have repayment waived, if they're in financial distress and can prove the error wasn't intentional.
In other cases, government attorneys can take claimants to court if they don't pay back what they owe. They have various methods of recouping the money, including setting up payment plans, garnishing wages or deducting funds from federal income tax returns.
In all but the most extreme cases, punishment for fraud can include probation, community service and paying back the money with an extra penalty. Jail time is rare, considering the government wants to see people continue working and paying back the system.
In fiscal 2011, there were roughly 2,700 convictions for fraud related to unemployment insurance.
MTW-Is every single intragovernmental agency inept and incapable of doing ANYTHING right? I sure wish they would overpay people on Social Security Disability. If they had some oversight of the people being paid, and I am sure there is someone or many someones who likely have that job. It is not hard to see public records on your computer to find out if the payee is in prison. Obama seems to have given jobs to people in OUR Government who are not up to the task. Having a few million unemployed to keep track of, however, is the only redeeming quality in the US Labor Department's Office of Unemployment Insurance's overpayment. The jobless buck stops at the President. The Obama cancer has metastasized throughout the whole of our Government. He needs to go! No More Obama!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
