Secret Service Buys Two New $1.1 Million Buses For A Three-Day Presidential Campaign Trip While The President Flies Ahead Of The Buses. U.S. President Barack Obama walks to his bus as he arrives in Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport, Minnesota, August 15, 2011, where he is to begin his three-day bus/fly tour in the Midwest centering on the economy. He FLIES into an airport somewhere in the Midwest, hops into one of two brand new Canadian built $1.1 Million buses, paid for by you and me, for a bus/fly tour around the Midwest' and after an hour or so, gets driven back to the airport for ANOTHER FLIGHT, lands at another airport where another $1.1 Million brand new black Canadian bus is waiting for him and then, repeats all that until his Midwest "bus/fly tour" is done? Judicial Watch: $500,000 to Send Michelle to Africa 3/14/12

Last week, we wrote about a story in which Judicial Watch sued the Air Force to see how much taxpayers had to shell out for her trip to Spain, and it received 3800 shares. Judicial Watch has sued in the past and won. This is an old Washington Examiner story from October 2011 in which they were able to obtain the documents for their trip to Africa. Michelle Obama's travels do cost the taxpayer’s money. She may be required to pay for personal expenses but the taxpayers are on the hook for so much when Michelle goes on these trips. The most disgusting issue of them all was that the Obama daughters were listed as "senior staff". Judicial Watch said the U.S. Air Force provided a C-32 - a Boeing 757 modified by the military for the purpose of flying big-wigs around the world - to fly the First Lady and her entourage to and from Africa, at a cost of $424,142. Another $928.44 was listed as the cost of providing 192 meals for the 21 people who made the trip The Obama daughters were listed on the manifest as "senior staff." “This trip was as much an opportunity for the Obama family to go on a safari as it was a trip to conduct government business," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "This junket wasted tax dollars and the resources of our overextended military. No wonder we had to sue to pry loose this information."

US Flag: The Disgusting Thing that the Democratic HQ of Lake County Did 3/15/12

Veteran: "If you've been a veteran and fought and some died for this flag, you don't want to see it desecrated!" The Lake County Democratic party headquarters were flying an alternative version of the US flag. Their version? Instead of the 50 stars, it had a headshot of President Obama. We have had so many cases where displaying the true version of the flag has gotten people in trouble. Remember the kids that were banned in San Francisco from wearing the colors of the US flag because it would upset Hispanics? (link). And a judge had upheld the school's right to censor this? (link). Given that the flag is censored in cases like those then it is disgusting to see it displayed this way. The flag is no longer up thanks to a handful of Veterans that sounded the alarm with regards to US flag code. People have died for that flag. We have seen numerous examples of the President being elevated to a level greater than human.
Eric Holder Acting Like a Victim 2/2/12

Speaking to the congressional committee, Eric Holder gets defensive. “That was among the worst things I’ve ever seen in Congress” Holder scolded. “There’s a whole bunch of things that I could say about what you just did, maybe this is the way you do things in Idaho or wherever you’re from, but understand something — I‘m proud of the work that I’ve done as attorney general of the United States, and looked at fairly, I think that I’ve done a pretty good job.” “But my hope would be that we can get beyond that kind of interaction, that kind of treatment of a witness whether it’s me or somebody else because I think what you just did was fundamentally unfair, just not right,” Why does Eric Holder have to play the victim card? There have been 150 deaths due to Operation Fast and Furious and we are looking for answers. The family of Brian Terry has filed a $25 million wrongful death lawsuit against the federal government. They believe the government should be implicated for having allowed guns to "walk" into Mexico and ultimately be turned against Terry. Meanwhile Attorney General Eric Holder is stonewalling congress. Perhaps that is why he is getting defensive. The majority report charged that for “months, the [DOJ] has stonewalled Committee document requests and refused to comply with Committee subpoenas. The [DOJ] has produced scores of blacked-out pages containing no information and many duplicate documents in order to bolster its page count.” The report asserted that the DOJ is still withholding 92 percent of the documents it has handed over to the Office of Inspector General. It objected as well to the DOJ decision not to hand over to the committee any documents created after Feb. 4, 2011.
Allocation of $1.2 Billion Tax Money 2/4/12

$1.2 Billion given to black farmers. This is kind of an old story but it kind of slipped under the radar and I am bringing the issue back to life. Dept. of Agriculture Through the Department of Agriculture, President Obama's administration authorized the use of $1.2 Billion of our tax money to go to black farmers as payback for years (decades) of discrimination. (Fox News, Nov 2010) Affirmative Action The Agriculture Department said that this was necessary in "addressing an unfortunate chapter in USDA's civil rights history." Judge Approved This In October 2011, a judge gave the government approval. (Huffington Post) "This agreement will provide overdue relief and justice to African American farmers, and bring us closer to the ideals of freedom and equality that this country was founded on," Obama said in a statement. Bypassing Congress Obama is bypassing congress through the Departments so that he can enact policy and spend money. It is a power grab. Steelers All Time Leading Receiver Hines Ward Has Retired

Hines Ward’s constant smile while wearing the black and gold has been a staple in Pittsburgh for the last 14 years. After today Pittsburgh fans will not be able to see it again, at least on the field. As a Miami fan, I can say without thinking, that just to watch the way Hines Ward carried himself on the field, the enormous smile on his face after every catch, even when the Steelers are beating my Dolphins, it has always been difficult to not like this man; also, to respect him very much. I want to wish you well, Hines, as you give up the game which you so obviously love, in an organization as prestigious as the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ward will remain a Steeler, indefinitely; leading all others in yardage, with over 12,000 career yards, two Super Bowl Championships, Superbowl 40 MVP, and appearance in the Pro Bowl, and one HELL of a blocker. A very interesting third round pick if you think about it. Thanks for all of the memories, and God Bless You.

America's Most Bibically-Hostile U. S. President

When one observes President Obama’s unwillingness to accommodate America’s four-century long religious conscience protection through his attempts to require Catholics to go against their own doctrines and beliefs, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Catholic. But that characterization would not be correct. Although he has recently singled out Catholics, he has equally targeted traditional Protestant beliefs over the past four years. So since he has attacked Catholics and Protestants, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Christian. But that, too, would be inaccurate. He has been equally disrespectful in his appalling treatment of religious Jews in general and Israel in particular. So perhaps the most accurate description of his antipathy toward Catholics, Protestants, religious Jews, and the Jewish nation would be to characterize him as anti-Biblical. And then when his hostility toward Biblical people of faith is contrasted with his preferential treatment of Muslims and Muslim nations, it further strengthens the accuracy of the anti-Biblical descriptor. In fact, there have been numerous clearly documented times when his pro-Islam positions have been the cause of his anti-Biblical actions. Listed below in chronological order are (1) numerous records of his attacks on Biblical persons or organizations; (2) examples of the hostility toward Biblical faith that have become evident in the past three years in the Obama-led military; (3) a listing of his open attacks on Biblical values; and finally (4) a listing of numerous incidents of his preferential deference for Islam’s activities and positions, including letting his Islamic advisors guide and influence his hostility toward people of Biblical faith.
1. Acts of hostility toward people of Biblical faith:
• April 2008 – Obama speaks disrespectfully of Christians, saying they “cling to guns or religion” and have an “antipathy to people who aren't like them.” 1
• February 2009 – Obama announces plans to revoke conscience protection for health workers who refuse to participate in medical activities that go against their beliefs, and fully implements the plan in February 2011. 2
• April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus' name be covered when he is making his speech. 3
• May 2009 – Obama declines to host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House. 4
• April 2009 – In a deliberate act of disrespect, Obama nominated three pro-abortion ambassadors to the Vatican; of course, the pro-life Vatican rejected all three. 5
• October 19, 2010 – Obama begins deliberately omitting the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence – an omission he has made on no less than seven occasions. 6
• November 2010 – Obama misquotes the National Motto, saying it is “E pluribus Unum” rather than “In God We Trust” as established by federal law. 7
• January 2011 – After a federal law was passed to transfer a WWI Memorial in the Mojave Desert to private ownership, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court. 8
• February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress. 9
• April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring. 10
• August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception. 11
• November 2011 – Obama opposes inclusion of President Franklin Roosevelt’s famous D-Day Prayer in the WWII Memorial. 12
• November 2011 – Unlike previous presidents, Obama studiously avoids any religious references in his Thanksgiving speech. 13
• December 2011 – The Obama administration denigrates other countries' religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights. 14
• January 2012 – The Obama administration argues that the First Amendment provides no protection for churches and synagogues in hiring their pastors and rabbis. 15
• February 2012 – The Obama administration forgives student loans in exchange for public service, but announces it will no longer forgive student loans if the public service is related to religion. 16
2. Acts of hostility from the Obama-led military toward people of Biblical faith:
• June 2011 – The Department of Veterans Affairs forbids references to God and Jesus during burial ceremonies at Houston National Cemetery. 17
• August 2011 – The Air Force stops teaching the Just War theory to officers in California because the course is taught by chaplains and is based on a philosophy introduced by St. Augustine in the third century AD – a theory long taught by civilized nations across the world (except America). 18
• September 2011 – Air Force Chief of Staff prohibits commanders from notifying airmen of programs and services available to them from chaplains. 19
• September 2011 – The Army issues guidelines for Walter Reed Medical Center stipulating that “No religious items (i.e. Bibles, reading materials and/or facts) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit.” 20
• November 2011 – The Air Force Academy rescinds support for Operation Christmas Child, a program to send holiday gifts to impoverished children across the world, because the program is run by a Christian charity. 21
• November 2011 – The Air Force Academy pays $80,000 to add a Stonehenge-like worship center for pagans, druids, witches and Wiccans. 22
• February 2012 – The U. S. Military Academy at West Point disinvites three star Army General and decorated war hero Lieutenant General William G. (“Jerry”) Boykin (retired) from speaking at an event because he is an outspoken Christian. 23
• February 2012 – The Air Force removes “God” from the patch of Rapid Capabilities Office (the word on the patch was in Latin: Dei). 24
• February 2012 – The Army orders Catholic chaplains not to read a letter to parishioners that their archbishop asked them to read. 25
3. Acts of hostility toward Biblical values:
• January 2009 – Obama lifts restrictions on U.S. government funding for groups that provide abortion services or counseling abroad, forcing taxpayers to fund pro-abortion groups that either promote or perform abortions in other nations. 26
• January 2009 – President Obama’s nominee for deputy secretary of state asserts that American taxpayers are required to pay for abortions and that limits on abortion funding are unconstitutional. 27
• March 2009 – The Obama administration shut out pro-life groups from attending a White House-sponsored health care summit. 28
• March 2009 – Obama orders taxpayer funding of embryonic stem cell research. 29
• March 2009 – Obama gave $50 million for the UNFPA, the UN population agency that promotes abortion and works closely with Chinese population control officials who use forced abortions and involuntary sterilizations. 30
• May 2009 – The White House budget eliminates all funding for abstinence-only education and replaces it with “comprehensive” sexual education, repeatedly proven to increase teen pregnancies and abortions. 31 He continues the deletion in subsequent budgets. 32
• May 2009 – Obama officials assemble a terrorism dictionary calling pro-life advocates violent and charging that they use racism in their “criminal” activities. 33
• July 2009 – The Obama administration illegally extends federal benefits to same-sex partners of Foreign Service and Executive Branch employees, in direction violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 34
• September 16, 2009 – The Obama administration appoints as EEOC Commissioner Chai Feldblum, who asserts that society should “not tolerate” any “private beliefs,” including religious beliefs, if they may negatively affect homosexual “equality.” 35
• July 2010 – The Obama administration uses federal funds in violation of federal law to get Kenya to change its constitution to include abortion. 36
• August 2010 – The Obama administration Cuts funding for 176 abstinence education programs. 37
• September 2010 – The Obama administration tells researchers to ignore a judge’s decision striking down federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. 38
• February 2011 – Obama directs the Justice Department to stop defending the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 39
• March 2011 – The Obama administration refuses to investigate videos showing Planned Parenthood helping alleged sex traffickers get abortions for victimized underage girls. 40
• July 2011 – Obama allows homosexuals to serve openly in the military, reversing a policy originally instituted by George Washington in March 1778. 41
• September 2011 – The Pentagon directs that military chaplains may perform same-sex marriages at military facilities in violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 42
• October 2011 – The Obama administration eliminates federal grants to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for their extensive programs that aid victims of human trafficking because the Catholic Church is anti-abortion. 43
4. Acts of preferentialism for Islam:
• May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan. 44
• April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is dis-invited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community. 45
• April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc. 46
• August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity. 47
• August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location. 48
• 2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. 49
• October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House. 50
• February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military, 51 but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do. 52 Many of these actions are literally unprecedented – this is the first time they have happened in four centuries of American history. The hostility of President Obama toward Biblical faith and values is without equal from any previous American president.

You are definitely NOT a Christian, many think you to be a Muslim; however, I believe you a merely an Atheist, pandering your BS to any group other than Christians, as you seem Hell bent on trying to see this Great Nation become Hell bound, like yourself. Army Staff Sgt. Bales Named as Suspect in Afghanistan Massacre

Military sources late Friday identified Army Staff Sgt. Robert Bales as the name of the 38-year-old suspect accused of killing 16 Afghan civilians in a Sunday rampage. Bales has not yet been charged in the case. He was flown to the U.S. military maximum security prison at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas from Kuwait Friday. "I can confirm" the name of the suspect is Robert Bales, a U.S. official told Yahoo News on condition of anonymity. Bales' Seattle-area celebrity lawyer, John Henry Browne, said Friday that his client is in shock. "He is in shock, kind of like a deer in headlights at the moment," Browne said Friday morning, a local station near Joint Base Lewis-McChord King 5 News, reported. "I told him not to talk about the allegations at all, so I cannot tell you how he is responding because I told him not to talk about it." Browne earlier told reporters at a news conference Thursday that the decorated soldier wasn't happy that he had been deployed a fourth time despite sustaining two injuries, including a traumatic head injury and the partial loss of his foot in Iraq. Browne dismissed rumors that the soldier had marital troubles, and said he had two young children. "He did not want to deploy," Browne told the Seattle Times. "In fact he was told he was not going to go. Then, really almost overnight, that changed." Browne told the paper that a soldier in his unit had lost a leg in combat the day before the alleged shooting. The New York Times quoted a "senior" American official saying the soldier had been drinking before the alleged shooting. "When it all comes out, it will be a combination of stress, alcohol and domestic issues — he just snapped," the anonymous official told the paper. A U.S. defense official told the Associated Press that investigators are looking into how much of a role drinking might have played in the killings. The revelation of Bales' identity comes after criticism from Afghan President Hamid Karzai about the lack of U.S. cooperation in investigating the massacre. Karzai also questioned whether just one American soldier was involved. The soldier was one of 4,000 soldiers in the 3rd (Stryker) Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division stationed at Lewis-McChord in Washington State. The base's medical center is being investigated for allegedly down-grading post- traumatic stress diagnoses to other mental illnesses that do not prevent deployment or qualify soldiers for disability payments.

MTW- This is such a shame. I know, the plethora of stories which led up to this article, and the articles that will follow this one are many. This one, however, was at the correct time. When we have our very own Military physicians, not only from Lewis-McChord, now "downgrading" P.T.S.D. into less severe diagnoses, which NPR revealed in its 2010 investigation, being rampant in our Military, whom is the responsible party? This 38 year old Staff Sergeant has been through it. Sent back at his age for a fourth tour with PTSD, which was intentionally “downgraded” by doctors, at I wonder whose behest (where are all of the new young people enlisting?). And they wonder why he snapped? Is this what downsizing the Military is going to do to our current active or inactive troops? Give me a break. If our President had served in the Military, perhaps our Servicemen and women may be better off. Not my fault, the man I voted for WAS in the Military. We now have Soldiers being silenced by Obama, as well as being sanctioned for a Facebook page stating “I will no longer follow illegal orders from this President”. I suppose the 1st amendment does not apply to our Soldiers. Sgt. Bales will more than likely either spend the rest of his life in a mental ward, or a cell at Leavenworth. If he gets the cell, Mr. Obama should get the cell right next to his. His is, after all, the Commander-In-Chief of the Military. What has happened to the Afghans, who were massacred, is a tragedy which could have been avoided. Did anybody learn anything from Vietnam? I offer my sincere condolences to Afghanistan, as well as a big way to go for you, Mr. President. I now know why you apologize so much; you are wrong most of the time. The people who voted for you are also to blame, for you are not qualified to be in the position which you hold. Please go away. I do not care where.

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — The American campaign in Afghanistan suffered a double blow Thursday: President Hamid Karzai demanded NATO troops immediately pull out of rural areas in the wake of the killing of 16 civilians, and the Taliban broke off talks with the U.S. The setbacks effectively paralyze the two main tracks for ending the 10-year-old war. Part of that exit strategy is to gradually transfer authority to Afghan forces while another tack is to pull the Taliban into some sort of political discussions with the Afghan government. Karzai also said he now wants Afghan forces take the lead for countrywide security in 2013, a year ahead of schedule. He spoke as Afghan lawmakers were expressing outrage that the U.S. flew the soldier suspected in civilian killings to Kuwait Wednesday night when they were demanding he be tried in the country. "Afghan security forces have the ability to keep the security in rural areas and in villages on their own," Karzai said in a statement after meeting visiting U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. He said he had conveyed his demand to Panetta during their meeting. Foreign Ministry spokesman Janan Mosazai confirmed that Karzai was asking for NATO to immediately pull back from villages and rural areas to main bases. Karzai is confident that Afghan security forces know "a thousand times better than any foreign troops the culturally sensitive ways of dealing with their own people," Mosazai said. If the NATO troops did pullback, it would leave vast areas of the country unprotected and essentially mean the end of the strategy of trying to win hearts and minds by working with and protecting the local populations. The American accused of killing 16 civilians on Sunday was stationed on just such a base, where a small group of soldiers worked with villagers to try to set up local defense forces and strengthen government. Leaving rural areas would also mean pulling back U.S. forces from the border areas with Pakistan. The accused soldier, who has not been named, is suspected of going on a shooting rampage in villages near his base in southern Afghanistan, killing nine children and seven other civilians and then burning some of their bodies. Karzai told Panetta that the weekend shootings in southern Afghanistan were cruel and that everything must be done to prevent any such incidents in the future. He said that was the reason he was demanding the pullout from rural areas now and early transfer of security. President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron said in Washington on Wednesday that they and their NATO allies were committed to shifting to a support role in Afghanistan in 2013. Obama gave his fullest endorsement yet for the mission shift, but he said the overall plan to gradually withdraw forces and hand over security in Afghanistan will stand. In January, after French President Nicolas Sarkozy suggested that foreign forces speed up their timetable for handing combat operations to Afghan forces in 2013, Karzai said he would be in favor of that — if it were achievable. The call for an immediate exit from rural areas is a new demand however, and it is unclear how it will affect the transition strategy and ongoing talks with the U.S. about how to manage a long-term U.S. military presence in the country. Karzai is known for making dramatic demands then backing off under U.S. pressure. Even if he eventually changes his tone, the call for a pullback will likely become another issue of contention between the Afghans and their international allies at a time of growing war weariness in the United States and other countries of the international coalition. The Taliban said it was suspending talks with the U.S. because the Americans failed to follow through on their promises, made new demands and falsely claimed the militant group had entered into multilateral negotiations. Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in a statement that they had agreed to discuss two issues with the Americans: the establishment of the militant group's political office in Qatar and a prisoner exchange. The Taliban said the U.S. initially agreed to take practical steps on these issues, but then "turned their backs on their promises" and came up with new conditions for the talks. "So the Islamic Emirate has decided to suspend all talks with Americans taking place in Qatar from today onwards until the Americans clarify their stance on the issues concerned and until they show willingness in carrying out their promises instead of wasting time." "We must categorically state that the real source of obstacle in talks was the shaky, erratic and vague standpoint of the Americans therefore all the responsibility for the halt also falls on their shoulders." The Taliban also said Karzai falsely claimed the Afghan government was involved in three-way peace talks with the militants and the U.S. The Taliban said talking to the Afghan government was "pointless." Panetta applauded Karzai last month for telling an interviewer that the U.S., Afghan government and the Taliban recently held three-way talks aimed at moving toward a political settlement of the war. The Taliban denied the claim at the time. Afghan officials told The Associated Press that the U.S. had agreed in January to include representatives of the Karzai government in future meetings, but U.S. officials would not confirm that. U.S. officials did say that if this initial trust-building phase of contacts with the Taliban blossoms into full peace negotiations, the U.S. would sit alongside the Taliban and the Afghan government. The secretary of the Afghan peace council, which has been pushing for talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban, said it was not clear why the Taliban stopped negotiations with the United States. Mohammad Ismail Qasimyar speculated that it could be related to the Taliban's request that five top Taliban leaders be released from the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He said Afghan government needs to be involved in the negotiations. "In the past, we did a lot of preliminary work to build trust and goodwill for talks," he said, if the Afghans are not involved, any peace process won't work.

MTW- I can see another apology coming in the form of releasing the 5 Taliban leaders from Guantanamo Bay. I thought we had done away with Gitmo's terrorist suspect holdings. After a decade of War, the Taliban is still there, and a viable power. It is not our job to “fix” some other Country with a different culture. Our time tables are simply too long, as our Soldiers are in bad shape serving multiple tours in two theatres of operation. The buck stops with Obama. It would seem that he cares more about how he is doing with his Foreign Policy, and kissing ass of the people who hate us right now (can you blame them?), than he cares for our Soldiers’ wellbeing. NATO needs to do what Karzai wants, if you indeed respect HIS office as President of Afghanistan. We need to speed up our departure, for this is what is right, and what they want us to do. Our Armed Forces need to be treated better by this administration, and brought home; without the hassles of getting the treatments for their health-physical or mental-without having to go on television to get the V. A. to act as they should. This War has damaged not only the Afghan people, but our Military as well. End this conflict Mr. Obama, you seem to think you have the ability, but are you saving it for after the election, for yourself? It is possible you will simply let the next Man in the office handle it. One can only hope for the latter. Worry about HERE.

U.S Coast Guard ice breaker Cutter Healy accompanied the fuel tanker Renda as it made its way through the frozen waters carrying 1.3 million gallons of petroleum products. "The first step is to ensure the ice is safe for the personnel to walk on," said Chief Petty Officer Kip Wadlow. "Then they will work to connect the piping and check for leaks. Safety is our primary concern." The cutter has broken through almost 300 miles of ice for the tanker on a journey that took them through southern Alaska's Aleutian Islands. Tanker nears Alaska town buried in snow The voyage is the first-ever attempt to supply fuel to an Arctic Alaska settlement through sea ice. A company in Nome contracted the Renda to deliver the fuel after ice formed over the Bering Sea following a ferocious November storm that prevented the last delivery of the season via barge. The Coast Guard urged Nome residents not to go out on the ice to watch the operations, saying the behavior of the ice is unpredictable and ice conditions could change. Nome is not in immediate danger of running out of fuel, said Coast Guard Capt. Craig Lloyd, who is coordinating the mission. The town has enough fuel to last until about March, but the delivery was attempted now because it would have been more difficult then, he said. Officials considered flying in fuel, but it would have taken more than 300 flights, each carrying 4,000 to 5,000 gallons, to meet the town's needs, said Jason Evans, chairman of Sitnasuak Native Corp.
MTW- I do not know if it has been said; I read about the aid Russia provided in January to Nome, Alaska, and I would like to say thank you to the Nation of Russia, albeit a little late. Is It Really Bush's Fault?

This tells the story, why Bush was so bad at the end of his term. Don't just skim over this, read it slowly and let it sink in. If in doubt, check it out. The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007 the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress. The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995. For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this: January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress. At the time: The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77 The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5% The Unemployment rate was 4.6% George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB GROWTH Remember the day... January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES! Unemployment... to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES! Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy. And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie? OBAMA and the Democrat Congress So when someone tries to blame Bush... REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007.... THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!" Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party. Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 &2011. In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases. For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets. And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009. If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets. If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th. There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

MTW- I suppose from what is written here, it is not Bush’s fault. Kidding; we all know what the problem is. Some of us are simply too stubborn, or in denial to admit that we were wrong and correct a mistake from almost 4 years ago!

The Republicans tried to advance their plan as an amendment to a highway funding bill. It failed on a vote of 56-42, four short of the 60 needed to pass, although 11 Democratic senators voted with the Republicans. Republicans are using the proposal to highlight Obama's delay of the project ahead of November presidential and congressional elections, linking his decision to rising gasoline prices. "We're going to continue this fight," said Republican Senator John Hoeven of North Dakota, who championed the bill. He told reporters he hoped the measure might still be attached to the highway funding package when the Senate and House of Representatives work on a final version. "With gas prices going up every day, with what's going on in the Middle East, I'll tell you what: the pressure is just going to increase on the administration to get this project done," Hoeven said. Obama has supported construction of the southern leg of the pipeline, and his administration will assess a new route around an environmentally sensitive area of Nebraska once it has been identified, said White House spokesman Clark Stevens. "Once again, Republicans are trying to play politics with a pipeline project whose route has yet to be proposed," Stevens said. The entire project will take more than two years to build once permits are granted. GREEN GROUP: 'TEMPORARY VICTORY' The Keystone amendment was among 30 measures - many of them energy-related - being voted on as the Senate pushes in coming days to renew funding for highways and other infrastructure projects, slated to run out at the end of March. Earlier, the Senate defeated proposals to expand the area available for offshore oil drilling and extend the time for manufacturers to phase in new pollution regulations set by the Environmental Protection Agency for industrial boilers. But the Keystone amendment attracted the most attention. The pipeline would carry crude from Canadian oil sands to Texas refineries and would also pick up U.S. crude from North Dakota and Montana along the way. Environmental groups have fought the project, staging large protests last year that pressured the Obama administration to block approval. "Today's vote was a temporary victory and there's no guarantee that it holds for the long run," Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org, said in a statement. "We're grateful to the administration for denying the permit and for Senate leadership for holding the line." With a 34-64 vote, senators also defeated a proposal from Democratic Senator Ron Wyden that would have blocked exports of oil from the pipeline, as well as refined products made from that oil. Wyden said lawmakers need to carefully think through projects that would increase exports of oil, fuel and natural gas, lest the exports end up boosting prices for Americans. "This is just a step in what is clearly going to be an extensive debate," Wyden told Reuters after the vote. Democratic senators who voted for the Republican Keystone plan included Max Baucus and Jon Tester of Montana, Kent Conrad of North Dakota, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Claire McCaskill of Missouri and Jim Webb of Virginia. MTW- Pipeline off again; and Mr. Obama says he has nothing to do with the price of gasoline? It is all too clear that he is holding on to this one, to use it when he needs, perhaps for the approval and votes of the American Citizens. He is, obviously, under the influence of the lobbyists for the environmentalists. Once he needs more votes, he will screw them over, as his mission would appear to be re-elected. If that happens, he no longer needs their support. If he does not need this (pipeline) to achieve re-election, he will push for it in his next term, and place that feather in HIS cap, taking all credit. These political lobbies, with their millions keep him going. Along the way, the average Citizens are merely pawns in his chase for a second term. This pipeline would not only bring us much needed jobs, but perhaps also a decrease in fuel prices, and certainly less dependence on the oil in the Middle East. We need to GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE with our troops, whom have all served many more tours than is acceptable for their wellbeing. He is the worst Commander –In-Chief our Armed Forces have had to contend with, ever. He does not appear to care about them, which infuriates me, as many of my family members have served in all branches. If 11 Democrats voted for this pipeline, what does that tell you? It tells me that they, too, may not agree with their apology (excuse) man. I do not care which party he belongs to, nor do I care about the color of his skin or heritage. I would not have a different opinion if it were a white Republican destroying our former Great Nation.

San Antonio Prep Hoops Fans Accused of Racism Over USA Chant

By Cameron Smith| Prep Rally A high-profile high school in one of the wealthiest districts of the San Antonio region finds itself under fire after its fans chanted "USA, USA, USA" following its boys basketball team's regional final victory against a team made up predominantly of Hispanic players. As reported by KENS5.com, the Alamo Heights (Texas) High boys basketball team's regional title celebrations were marred by the aforementioned "USA" chants, which came from the school's fan section in the school's Littleton Gym. While San Antonio Independent School District athletics director Gil Garza insisted that Alamo Heights boys basketball coach Andrew Brewer acted quickly to quash the inflammatory chants, the school at which they were directed -- San Antonio (Texas) Edison High -- filed an official complaint about the incident with the University Interscholastic League, the governing body which oversees Texas public high school extracurricular activities. "I appreciate coach Brewer taking the action he took to stop it," Garza told KENS5. "Our kids try real hard and work extra hard to get to the regional tournament, and then we have to worry about them being subjected to this kind of insensitivity. "To be attacked about your ethnicity and being made to feel that you don't belong in this country is terrible. Why can't people just applaud our kids? It just gets old and I'm sick of it. Once again, we're on pins and needles wondering what's going to happen." The chants -- which can be heard in the video from San Antonio TV station KSAT below -- and subsequent brouhaha overshadowed Alamo Heights' first berth in the state basketball tournament in 21 years, earned by virtue of a 50-39 victory against Edison. The Alamo Heights School District will now have 10 days to officially respond to the complaint from SAISD, but the district's superintendent wasted no time in offering up his apologies for the fan section's actions, which you can hear in this video from San Antonio TV station KSAT. "Obviously, we were disappointed that this happened," Alamo Heights superintendent Kevin Brown, who reportedly apologized to SAISD officials personally, told KENS5. "That's not who we are as a community and that's not who we are as a school. It's not something that's acceptable for us. Our kids are very respectable. We have to remember that they're teenagers, and kids make mistakes. "Still, there are consequences. We have tried to use this as a teachable moment for them. We have talked to our students. We've taken responsibility for it, although what happened is not representative of everybody who was there." Meanwhile, at least one report noted that Edison students may have inflamed the situation by chanting "Alamo whites" either before or after the "USA, USA" chant began. Still, while that claim was reported by one San Antonio Express-News columnist it has not been substantiated by other sources (though it has also been perpetuated by Alamo Heights supporters online, which doesn't necessarily speak to its veracity or lack thereof). While it may still be some time before all the consequences connected with the chanting incident are sorted out, the fans whom Brewer and other Alamo Heights officials identified as being involved in the chanting incident have already been banned from attending the team's state semifinal against Dallas (Texas) Kimball High in Austin on Thursday.


MTW- Um, I am confused. Was this game not played in the USA, with 2 American schools? Were they not playing other Americans, or was the other team filled with non-Americans? Do Hispanics that are Citizens not consider themselves Americans? We do not need people here if they do not like it here. In short, to chant USA, while in the USA, is not something to punish these kids for. I am proud to be an American. It is called freedom of speech, and also Patriotism. If you have a problem with the 1st Amendment, take it up with the Supreme Court, as long as we are still a Free Country. Better hurry! There are too many apologies going on these days. I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator

and wordsmith and pray for him, BUT that is it.

I have begun today to ! see what I can do to make sure that he is a one-term President!

Why am I doing this ?

It is because: - I do not share Obama's vision or value system for America;

- I do not share his abortion beliefs;

- I do not share his radical Marxist's concept of re-distributing wealth;

- I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make$150,000+

(the ceiling has been changed three times since August);

- I do not share his view that America is Arrogant;

- I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation;

- I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%;

- I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than our American

Citizens who need help;

- I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage;

- I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel

is our enemy who should give up any land;

- I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public);

- I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America;

- I do not share his Strategic  views of the Middle East; and

- I certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes, such as Iran.

Bottom line: my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a

higher obligation to my Country and my GOD to do what is Right!

For eight (8) years, the Liberals in our Society, led by numerous

entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but

for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family,

and his spiritual beliefs!

They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their

philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their

personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country!

They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated

except being intolerant!

They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years!

They have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the

founding and growth of our Country!

They have made every effort to remove the name of GOD or Jesus Christ

from our Society!

They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear firearms,

and the most basic principles of our criminal code!

They have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms, the

right of free speech!

Unite behind Obama? Never!

I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard,

but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe

are the embodiment of Evil!

PRESIDENT BUSH made many mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not

sure how history will judge him. However, I believe that he weighed

his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our

Founding Fathers!!!

Majority rules in America, and I will honor the concept; however, I

will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama

and his "goals for America ..."

I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked,

will destroy our Country! Any more compromise is more defeat!

I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have

sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist anti-GOD crowd

to slowly change so much of what has been good in America!

Gotta Love The Concealed Handgun Law!

Retired Marine and former Pan Am/Delta Pilot John Lovell is Top Gun at Subway Sandwich Shop
Plantation, Florida:
Last week police were called to investigate an attempted armed robbery: The 71-year-old retired Marine who opened fire on two robbers at a Plantation, Florida, Subway shop late Wednesday, killing one and critically wounding the other, is described as John Lovell, a former helicopter pilot for two presidents. He doesn't drink, he doesn't smoke, and he works out every day. Mr. Lovell was a man of action Wednesday night.

According to Plantation police, two masked gunmen came into the Subway at1949 N. Pine Rd. just after 11 p.m. There was a lone diner, Mr. Lovell, who was finishing his meal. After robbing the cashier, the two men attempted to shove Mr. Lovell into a bathroom and rob him as well. They got his money, but then Mr. Lovell pulled his handgun and opened fire. He shot one of the thieves in the head and chest and the other in the head.
When police arrived, they found one of the men in the shop, K-9 Units found the other in the bushes of a nearby business. They also found cash strewn around the front of the sandwich shop according to Detective Robert Rettig of the Plantation Police Department.
Both men were taken to the Broward General Medical Center, where one, Donicio Arrindell, 22, of North Lauderdale died. The other, 21-year-old Frederick Gadson of Fort Lauderdale is in critical but stable condition.
Mr. Lovell was a pilot in the Marine Corps, flying former Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. He later worked as a pilot for Pan Am and Delta Airlines.
He is not expected to be charged authorities said. ''He was in fear for his life,'' Detective Rettig said, "These criminals ought to realize that most men in their 70's have military backgrounds and aren't intimidated by idiots."
Something tells me this old Marine wasn't 'in fear for his life', even though his life was definitely at risk. The only thing he could be charged with is participating in an unfair fight. One 71-year young Marine against two punks. Two head shots and one center body mass shot.
Outstanding shooting! That'll teach them not to get between a Marine and his meal.
Florida law allows eligible citizens to carry a concealed weapon. Don't you just love a story with a happy ending?

Old people don't fight, they just shoot you.

Now is that not the way it should be? At least he is not living in a cardboard box. Did you know, the Florida Concealed Weapons Permit is good in 27 States? I have read that approximately 6 million people in this Country are packing, legally. Criminals, beware!

Obama and Congress Set Record Budget Deficit in February

COMMENTARY | The Obama campaign just released the trailer for its 17-minute, Hollywood-composed documentary -- entitled "The Road We've Traveled" -- which purportedly touts the President's so-called accomplishments in financial reform, the auto industry, and his landmark healthcare reform law. "How do we understand this President and his time in office?" Hollywood A-lister Tom Hanks narrates over a melodramatic soundtrack. "Do we look at the day's headlines or do we remember what we as a country have been through?"
Naturally, the economic dormancy, fiscal tragedies, and soaring unemployment levels are absent from the trailer -- and most likely, from the movie itself. Indeed, President Barack Obama's alleged leadership in the economic crisis has led to record-breaking measures, particularly regarding the nation's fiscal shape.
That's right, pop the champagne and release the confetti, because the federal deficit in fiscal year 2012 has already exceeded half a trillion dollars.
The Congressional Budget Office estimated that the government will foster a deficit of $229 billion in February, the highest monthly figure in U.S. history. The previous record was $223 billion, which was achieved in February 2011, according to the Washington Times.
The record figure narrates a damning tale: The federal government is borrowing far more money while incurring far less revenue than it needs to fill the expanding fiscal gap. In fact, the Times reported, "the government has borrowed 42 cents of every dollar it spent during the first five months of this fiscal year."
And to pass all the blame Congress would be imprudent. Obama's leadership, particularly regarding fiscal matters, has led to a mass expansion in welfare benefits, billions of dollars in failed green-energy projects, and a near-trillion-dollar economic stimulus law that proved futile for the nation's unemployment picture.
Without a doubt, such financial ineptitude should reflect poorly on Congress, for both Republicans and Democrats. But one would think such a fiscal landmark would be calamitous for the President's November election results. Granted, President George W. Bush was no fiscal saint. But Obama has been in office for more than three years, and the "blame Bush" phenomenon is not only wearing thin, it's long worn out its credibility.

How much of the American tax-payer’s money is this horrible man going to spend on his re-election? Did Tom Hanks and the Hollywood folk foot the bill for your movie? They are his biggest fans. They are the wealthiest. These self-absorbed VERY RICH and VERY OVERPAID entertainers seem to not care about this Nation, nor do they care for the folks whom have made them successful. I mean no disrespect to the level-headed stars, many of whom just may care, such as those who are not supporters of Obama, or may have served in the Military; although it sure has been a while since any of them has done so. Was it Mr. Eastwood, Bill Cosby, or Morgan Freeman in Korea? Or was it Elvis or Chuck Norris in ’57 and ’58 respectively? Or did any of them go to Vietnam? The ones I have found are- Jeff Bridges, served in the Coast Guard, and Drew Carey was in the Marine Corps from 1981-1987, but do not let me forget Army Military Police Laurence Tureaud, serving until 1975. I pity the fool who forgets Mr. T. A little gap there-say, a Vietnam sized gap. (save Mr. T.) I am also sure there are Republican celebrities; I have a list, just Google it. Why do we not just go to George Clooney’s house and have one of his Democratic star studded orgies? And what is the real deal with the scientology nonsense? It sounds a lot like Atheism to me. This must be the reason BO said that this is no longer a Christian Nation. By the way, a lot has been talked about Mitt Romney and his wealth. Really? Obama is a millionaire, too, somehow. Is his father must be digging for diamonds in Kenya, or whatever it is they have worth a damn? I mean no offense to those who do not deserve it, and immense offense to those who do. Of course, my favorite line in the Clint Eastwood classic “Unforgiven”, is “Deserve’s got nothing to do with it.” Let us remove any President who apologizes to anyone for anything. It is a sign of weakness. I suppose I went off topic. So, where did all of that 500 billion just go? We will never know. Do you think Tom Hanks is going to get a position in the Obama staff now? All of his other highest donators have; but a movie? Is it a comedy?
