Lindsay Lohan has been sued for $5 million by a clothing manufacturer, TMZ reports. D.N.A.M. Apparel has filed a countersuit against LiLo in response to the actress' $1.1 million suit, which claims that the company licensed her 6126 trademark.
In Lohan's suit, filed in January, the actress says that she made a deal with D.N.A.M. in 2009 that allowed the company to manufacture clothes for her 6126 clothing line. Lohan claims the company agreed to pay her and her partner Kristi Kaylor hundreds of thousands of dollars in exchange for D.N.A.M. to sell her clothes internationally, but never paid up.
Now, D.N.A.M. has responded with its own suit, claiming that by spring 2010, it was unable to find any retailers to buy the brand because of Lohan's troubled personal life. D.N.A.M claims that the actress' "drug-addled image" made 6126 unsellable, and it's now suing for breach of contract and fraud.
Kaylor denies D.N.A.M.'s claims and maintains that the company breached their licensing agreement. "The D.N.A.M. countersuit against 6126 is frivolous and misrepresents the facts," Kaylor tells E! News in a statement. "D.N.A.M. knows that it is in breach of the 6126 licensee agreement, and this suit is clearly nothing more than a transparent defense maneuver. Lindsay and I worked for over three years to build the 6126 brand and ensure its success; D.N.A.M. is merely trying to get out of honoring its financial obligations."
MTW- Does this woman still have fans? Why is this piece of garbage not in prison? Why is this actual news to warrant an article on Yahoo!, and not Benghazi, or the IRS scandal, or Obamacare, or Perez being appointed Secretary of Labor, and working in league with the IRS, where he will be working with to ENFORCE Obamacare? Why must tax paying Citizens pay for unemployed or illegal aliens’ healthcare? Enforce healthcare? It sounds a little dictatorish. Why did the IRS target folks with “Patriot” and “Constitution” in their application, all of whom were Conservatives? Why is it wrong to believe in the Constitution, and to be a Patriotic American? Does anyone really know how to apply for Obamacare and how to use it? How did Obama con people into voting for him? Are you all fools? Where is the Electoral College, and why do THEY decide who the next President shall be? Why does Obama think we believe him when he says that the IRS is “not a government agency”, as they continue to TAKE our money, without our having the ability to stop them, as several people in Hollywood owe MILLIONS and are getting a pass? I would not. I am not famous, simply a Patriot and truthful; I would be taken for everything, like Willie Nelson was to set an example, and my words would be deemed illegal. I do not care. How could the Federal Reserve hold its own government in debt, being owed nearly 5 trillion, probably from Obama’s checkbook (Egypt, Libya, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, but not so much Israel- I thought we had their back, so said Obama. Obama is not a Muslim is he?); as opposed to the 1 trillion we owe China, and continue to hear nothing but BS about that in the Liberal Media whilst we continue to kiss their asses? I suppose the Federal Reserve is "not a Government Agency" either, right? If they were, they should pay China off, and say F. O. to them. How much of hard working American Citizens’ taxes are in those checks to our ENEMIES, and the bags of cash the CIA is sending to President Karzai of Afghanistan? How does Obama continue to violate his OATH OF OFFICE as well as the Constitution, such as spying on a Fox News reporter, who had done no wrong per the FBI Agent’s affidavit? I want to know as well as you do, and why scum like Lyndsay Lohan’s latest news- or DUI, or drug arrest, or court order etc… is supposed to be something “important”? She is extremely insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Our Nation is in peril. A couple of more things, I feel a lot of sympathy for Jay Carney, knowing he is lying a he speaks. He should just shut up or resign- or better yet, TELL THE TRUTH! Who gives a rat's ass about the little skank Lohan? She can spare 5 million, while most of us cannot or will not ever; she also seems to have permanent immunity from all laws. Yahoo is an extremely left wing media, as are most media sources of information. I am not, until Obama takes away the Bill of Rights. Lastly, how did the 10 billion a year NFL achieve tax-exempt status?
