America Needs an Obamatomy

I received this e-mail on 4-13-2011. It requires another look.

Soldier told not to speak at fundraiser

OBAMA STOPS WOUNDED SOLDIER FROM SPEAKING!!

Sent by Retired Vice Admiral Bob Scarborough, of Arlington, Va.

"I wanted to give you all some disturbing information on our wonderful president. I work with the Catch-A-Dream Foundation, which provides hunting and fishing trips to children with life-threatening illnesses.
This past weekend we had our annual banquet/fundraiser event in Starkville.
As a part of our program, we had scheduled Sgt. 1st Class Greg Stube to come; he's a highly decorated U.S. Army Green Beret and inspirational speaker who was severely injured while deployed overseas and didn't have much chance for survival.
Greg is stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC and received permission from his commanding officer to come speak at our function.
Everything was on go until Obama made a policy that NO U.S. SERVICEMAN CAN SPEAK AT ANY FAITH-BASED PUBLIC EVENTS ANYMORE. Needless to say, Greg had to cancel his speaking event with us. Didn't know if anyone was aware of this new policy.

And the Muslims can have a prayer day in the White House!!!!! Christians can't. So now we know who is Muslim and wants this nation to be Muslim. Our granddaughters will be wearing burkas someday.
You're just starting to see the Obamanation.
This is just how the Nazis did it in the 1930's--slowly, one step at a time."

Here is Michael T. Wayne's take on something more recent:

September 18, 2011, Marine Corps Corporal Dakota L. Meyer, received the Medal of Honor. The first Marine since Vietnam to receive the highest commendation for service to his nation’s citizens,(not posthumously) for the events of September 8, 2009, at the battle of Ganjgal, Afghanistan. Bear in mind, when this above article was written, and was sent to me, they were at that time doing the investigation and
consideration of Meyer's eligibility to receive the nation’s highest honor.
When he was awarded his MOH, he was interviewed on 60 Minutes, and has since recanted many of the details which surrounded his actions. Soon after, there were many more articles written with his very own account of the actions he was praised for, yet he disputed the governments itinerary of events as we were told, and they
fired back, saying that he was not being truthful.
WHAT? This man put HIS life on the line, he was there, and the US government is going to say he is lying? To what end?
How dare this administration treat this man, and all of us as if we were fools. Yes, fool enough to believe them over the REAL HERO. And I know, every one of our men and women in service to our military’s branches- or basically there for US, will tell us when in receipt of any commendation, that they are not a hero, but it is their fallen brothers and sisters whom are the real heroes.
Meyer believes he may have been a hero if he had managed to save his fellow brothers in arms. The “Rules of Engagement” kept the higher ups from sending the air support promised in 15 minutes, with two choppers 5 minutes away, to a one hour and 45 minute wait, and had previously refused artillery support, for they were too near a village, so they were disciplined for their non-actions. Who made the rules which were followed? That being said, who do you believe? The soldier or the lawyer?
God Bless the United States of America, and ALL of its guardians, even as they dwindle your numbers. We are truly grateful and someday, God willing, the gags will come off, and we will finally get the truth.
I will not even comment on the monstrous steaming pile of “stuff” our
beloved president filled a 2 hour television show with about the whole bin-Laden takedown.
To Seal Team 6: good job. I am sure it was a difficult, yet well executed mission, save for the chopper thing. (Probably did not benefit having a CIA guy on the chopper) Regardless, I am sure you guys are not finished yet with your job(s), so, Godspeed. And off to…Iran? Look what happened now, today in the next section. The world sure does have respect for us these days!

Iran Mocks US With Toy Drone
By RANDY KREIDER | ABC News – 1-17-2012 Iran Mocks US With Toy Drone (ABC News)
The Iranian government, which captured a U.S. stealth drone in December, has agreed to give the top-secret spy craft back, but with a catch.
Instead of the original RQ-170 Sentinel drone, the Islamic Republic said Tuesday that it will send President Obama a tiny toy replica of the plane.
Iranian state radio said that the toy model will be 1/80th the size of the real thing. Iranian citizens can also buy their own toy copies of the drone, which will be available in stores for the equivalent of $4.
The White House formally requested return of the drone after the Iranians displayed it on state television. The U.S. says that the craft was operating over Eastern Afghanistan.
The Iranians claim they detected the drone well inside Iran's border and then took control of the craft electronically and brought it down safely. The U.S. has denied that the craft came down for any reason other than technical malfunction.
On Dec. 11, after President Obama said he had requested the return of the drone, an Iranian general said that it was not going to happen. The general also warned on Iranian television of a "bigger response" to the "hostile act" of crossing into Iranian airspace.
"No one returns the symbol of aggression to the party that sought secret and vital intelligence related to the national security of a country," Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps [IRGC] Lt. Commander Gen. Hossein Salami said, according to Iran's Fars News Agency.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that "given Iran's behavior to date, we do not expect them to comply" with Obama's request. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta also said he didn't expect Iran to hand over the drone, but told reporters, "I think it's important to make that request."
