A heartfelt HAPPY BITHDAY goes out to Muhammad Ali. He is 70 years old now, and still garners the respect- deservedly so- today as he did when he won the title the first time. Champ, you had the belt taken from you, improperly, by the time I arrived. Some of my earliest memories are of the second coming of THE CHAMP. I still remember. I always will. You always had the will, so obdurate in the face of overwhelming odds. No fighter has ever been able to do the things you did, nor have they had your longevity, as an inspiration and an example of a truly blessed, gifted athlete. And yes, you said you were pretty, that no one has ever seen anybody as good as you, the poems predicting fight outcomes round by round; great stuff. You said it and you backed up your words in the ring. With the UFC poised to replace professional boxing as it becomes more preferable, I still to this day think
of you, Mr. Ali. The best ever, and a great man. Thank you and again, Happy Birthday to the Champ, Mr.Muhammad Ali.
