High Court Rules On FCC Policy

High court throws out FCC indecency policy
Associated Press
The Supreme Court has thrown out fines and sanctions against broadcasters who violated the Federal Communications Commission policy regulating curse words and nudity on broadcast television.
The justices declined on Thursday to issue a broad ruling on the constitutionality of the FCC indecency policy. Instead, the court concluded only that broadcasters could not have known in advance that obscenities uttered during awards show programs and a brief display of nudity on an episode of ABC's NYPD Blue could give rise to sanctions.
The justices said the FCC is free to revise its indecency policy.
MTW- NYPD Blue showed Dennis Franz’s ass over a decade ago. I have seen a lot more men’s asses than I care to since, but do you not think this ruling came a little late to matter? It is because they are after Fox. Check out the Comedy Central Channel, when they show unedited South Park episodes. Those are 8 year olds cussing like sailors. The FCC needs to update its rules from the 70’s, and this was a waste of my time and yours. Definitely the Court’s time, probably over Family Guy.
Thanks for not letting us see breasts FCC. Go and watch television in Europe, and you will all go insane from the language and nudity, FCC guys. That would make a nice adult cartoon- FCC Guys. Seth macFarlane, you think? It is still to bad we had to see Sipowicz's ass.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
